The place is truly modern, but with that organic, natural vibe without being overly green. The staff is wonderful, friendly and really helpful, the food is really, really good. The location is perfect for trips around Dorset. We shall go again when in the neighbourhood.

Staff was very friendly and nice, helped us to book a table in the restaurant for the same evening even though they were understaffed, we appreciated it after a long day driving. Excellent location to explore Dorset. The room was big and the bed very comfy. Fantastic breakfast, everything was great, highly recommended.

Location excellent. Pre details sent before arrival were extremely clear and full of information. Ruth & Peter were fabulous hosts, and we couldn't have asked for more. The property has been recently renovated to an immaculate standard. Everything is beautifully presented, warm and cosy with tea and coffee available, full kitchen equipment, luxurious crisp white bedding, and soft fluffy towels. The property is spacious, and has two bedrooms, and two large bathrooms. Upon booking, we read that meals could be pre -ordered, and supplied by Peter the owner, so we had to take advantage of this. We were served the most delicious 3 corse meal - and it was 5 star resturant standard food,, just excellent. Well worth thinking about pre ordering a meal if you are staying here, especially if you like to explore in and around Bridport for the day, knowing you’ll have a divine meal all set for when you get back! Recommendation's, things to do, visit, trips :- *Pre order/ try a Meal from Peter the host. * West Bay - Try ‘The Station’, for a meal on a revamped quirky train carriage. *Bridport Market - Sat morning, excellent range of wonderful arts/crafts/ cheese/veg/ect ect. *Bridport Museum - £5 entry, return for a whole year free - fascinating look into Bridport’s History, and you can even make your own rope! *Weymouth beach, beautiful seafront, great shopping centre. *Shepton Mallet Prison - closed prison, eldest prison in the world! Very interesting, many films made there, as well as many infamous prisoners.

I needed an escape with my late teenage children for...

I needed an escape with my late teenage children for Christmas. It is always a bit of a gamble when you book an unknown place, however in this case any concerns disappeared the minute we arrived. Really great hosts, perfect location, a fantastic place to spend Christmas.

Jason the host got the comms spot on, before we arrived and during our stay. The accommodation was really nice, quiet and rural, but a good central point in Dorest to access all areas. The hot tub was great, and it was a struggle to get my daughter out of it. comfy beds and great to have 2 ensuites. Good value for money.
