Very clean, comfy and excellent location. Staff were very helpful, especially the cleaning staff, as our door lock got stuck and wouldn’t open. They called the front reception and had the manager come and fix the door very quickly. Beautiful location, close to the canal for walks, the restaurant was very good and if you had kids a nice playground for them. There was even Sunday afternoon music in the garden, very pleasant. Recommend and would stay again.

Damon's hotel exceeded our expectations on every level. The room was excellent, with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. Whilst we didn't eat at the accompanying restaurant, we did use the bar, which, like the hotel, was excellent value for money. We will stay here again, and we will make more use of the onsite facilities.

    I was there for a family occasion/ function so Metheringham is Metheringham; it’s a nice area, but being there in December within a few days of the shortest day, not a lot was seen of the area other than the accommodation and people I had travelled to meet.

    It was quiet and simple.

    It was quiet and simple. The fishing lake is beautiful and the check in was reasonable and helpful. It's a very convenient location for Lincolnshire Showground and Lincoln. We had a beautiful peaceful stay.

    A lovely traditional English inn located in a gorgeous...

    A lovely traditional English inn located in a gorgeous sleepy village with three other pubs and an excellent newsagents plus a Chinese take away (although we didn't use it during our stay). Excellents hosts who went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. Excellent value for money. The room was freshly decorated and clean with everything you could wish for. A really nice place to stay in a beautiful area - Highly recommended.

    Metheringham is a very nice small town, with plenty of pubs,...

    Metheringham is a very nice small town, with plenty of pubs, restaurants and places to visit. It is very easy and quick to get to other locations in the area and only 20 minutes or so to Lincoln. The town is absolutely ideal for aviation history enthusiasts.

    Metheringham is a gem nestled within the Lincolnshire...

    Metheringham is a gem nestled within the Lincolnshire countryside in between Sleaford 12 miles south and Lincoln 10 miles to the north and served by a small train station. It has several very nice eateries including a fantastic Indian restaurant as well as a couple of supermarkets. Metheringham is a nature loving and walkers paradise with easily accessible walking in all directions as well as a beautiful fishing lake. The people are friendly and welcoming. It has everything you could ever wish, for a lovely relaxing break away and a chance to visit the beautiful historic city of Lincoln as well as the surrounding beautiful villages.

    The small village of Metheringham appears to have no fewer...

    The small village of Metheringham appears to have no fewer than 3 fish and chip shops, Chinese take away, Indian restaurant, tea room, and at least 3 pubs serving food. We can recommend Sunday lunch at the White Hart. Add the good-sized co-op, the overall tidiness and the greetings from everyone you pass, and you have an excellent short break countryside destination.

    Clean and comfortable. Good Wi-Fi. Easy parking outside the room. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Two upright chairs in the room. An easy chair instead of the second chair would have been nice, but most hotels these days don’t have an easy chair in the room so nothing unusual here.

    Located fairly central in village of Metheringham. Room was spotless with all the facilities I needed. No food available in the Pub as it was Sunday which was disappointing, but on the plus side the local Indian was excellent. Breakfast was well prepared and tasty.

    We had a lovely room. Stayed at hotel for evening meal. Good choice and helpful with advice for Gluten Free options. One of best breakfast we've had, including the gluten free. We will recommend and return. Excellent value for money.
