Located halfway between John O'Groats & Thurso, a hidden gem, Wayne the host is a wealth of information & could not be more welcoming. There are 2 pubs located 5 minutes away, we had dinner at the Northern Sands, excellent meals. Would have stayed longer if time permitted, if you're looking for peace & quiet Celtic Lodges is perfect. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect for us. The communication with the host was excellent. We were running late to check in but they made the directions and process easy. We loved the farm. The accommodation was great and spotlessly clean. The BBQ hut was amazing and we only wished we could have stayed long enough to use it. We'll have to make another trip back!

The proprietors Euan & Emma were excellent company and very attentive to guests' needs. The hotel had an excellent menu with accompanying wines, beers, spirits, if required. The hotel also had an extensive range of locally-produced spirits. The accommodation was excellent and well-equipped. The only down-side was the lack of TV reception - although being without TV was somewhat of a blessing!

This place is a little gem. If you want a spiritual retreat full of candles and incense in a quiet location, then this is for you. With no Wi-Fi, this is a place to come and escape. And not one touristy picture of a Highland cow to be seen - what a joy! The owner Fred, is a breath of fresh air. Loved the spacious rooms and very comfy king size bed. The property is just across the road from the footpath to Loch Mey with its bird hide. Great for birdwatchers.

The house was perfect, very well equipped, and very comfortable. It has everything you need. Situated in a quiet location with stunning views, including Castle of Mey, Orkney, and Dunnets Head. We also enjoyed the beaches and coastal walks. It's an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. The house is just a short drive to John O Groats and Thurso.

Breakfast was the perfect full Scottish, loved it! Great location for Castle of Mey and Duncansby Head, both of which we enjoyed immensely. Nearby Mey Hotel provided a superb evening meal to compliment Graeme and Eileen’s excellent accommodation.

Lovely hotel in a great location, the owners are so hospitable and the food was excellent. Really nice relaxing bar and wonderful local beers and spirits. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a beautiful en-suite bathroom.
