The cottage was spotlessly clean, and contained everything you would need for a short stay. There were provisions in on arrival, and the freshly baked bread was absolutely gorgeous. Hosts Ruan and Frances were amazing, and even the dogs were well catered for.

Everything about this spot was perfect, the location, the comfort, the cosiness, the communication, ease of check in and the lovely little cake that was left for myself and my partner. We will definitely stay here again when in Donaghadee.

We had a wonderful stay at Ballywalter Beach House, its location to the beach is perfect. Everything you need is steps away (local grocery store, village butcher, excellent Chinese, and local cafe. The house was immaculately clean and had all the little touches and extras that made it a home from home. I'd highly recommend Julie Ann as an amazing host and look forward to returning again.

I loved the vibe of the property, the owner had everything sorted for us and was very quick with replies. The bed was so comfortable and myself and my partner had such a good nights sleep. It was so cosy and the hot tub was such a nice touch!

This was a delightful property!!! Our room was a bit small, but I knew what I selected as the larger rooms had already been booked out. But we had a fridge, a Smart TV, an ensuite, and the room was large enough for us, and we loved it - and the price so reasonable. Next to our bed was a large window looking onto the harbour - which was so special. We enjoyed our wonderful breakfasts in the restaurant, had a few drinks at the bar, and one evening ate in the restaurant. All excellent!. Lots of great bars and food in the area if you decide to go exploring. We love the series Hope Street and so it was fun to stay in the hotel and wander around the area. Donaghadee is just gorgeous, and was such a surprise to us as we were not expecting it to be so lovely. We were lucky to have blue skies during our stay and we went for lots of walks. We were happy with the customer service, Lindsay suggested our new favourite meal (the sesame chicken) at their sister property, Caroline took a photo of us behind the bar, and Mia was a lot of fun. Thank you Pier 36 for a wonderful stay!
