We were there joining a larger group and had a fabulous time. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent and the environment great. So good to see a local pub still full of people, and most of them locals.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location. Peace and quiet. Heating was on and it was nice and warm on arrival, with log fire set up ready to light, a couple of beers and milk in the fridge...and a box of Malteasers! Clear instructions for everything in the cottage, plenty of games, chess table, sky tv with Netflix. We had a lovely night and would definitely recommend. The area around Sedbergh is lovely with plenty of walks and places to explore. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Very friendly and welcoming stay. Great set up with the shop nextdoor, the room was very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect Very friendly and helpful staff. Very well organised, Breakfast was really good, with a good selection, with the option of a packed lunch for the next day, which was reasonably priced. We would stay there again, and we can completely recommend this accommodation.

Great apartment close to the Lake District. Prices are "good" considering that everything in the Lake District is super expensive. The self-check-in worked fine; we got multiple emails reminding us how to do that.

Plenty of walking up various hills, lots of bookshops to...

Plenty of walking up various hills, lots of bookshops to browse, had the chance to watch Lancashire cricket match on the school cricket field while we were there. Several pub options all serving good food, we mostly went to the Red Lion but tried them all ☺️
