The property was spotless. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming. I would recommend this place as a lovely place to stay. Really nice gardens to the rear of the property too. We were going to a concert at floors castle and were struggling for a taxi home. Alan who runs temple hall came out and collected us. Such a lovely thing for him to do. Breakfast was also lovely.

The room was lovely, being well appointed. The Whisky bar is a real treat and the restaurant was top notch. Breakfast is very good and very extensive in its offerings. Overall a very pleasant stay, friendly and welcoming staff, good food and a fantastic Whisky bar.

I really loved this place! Checking in was simple and easy. It was very easy to find and there was plenty of parking on the street out front. The place itself was just absolutely darling. It was very comfortable and had everything you could need. There were plenty of breakfast items provided too. The wifi was strong and there was an extender right in the sitting room which was easy to reset if needed. The hosts were wonderful, very quick to respond, and were helpful with everything needed. I ended up extending my stay as I enjoyed it so much and I can't wait to return!

Our trip there is less than an hour so suits us just fine...

Our trip there is less than an hour so suits us just fine for a break away from home. Morebattle itself is a quiet village in its self with a local shop however it is well within travelling distance of Kelso, Jedburgh, Melrose, Abbotsford all which are local tourist attractions .

Lovely peaceful village, and an ideal base for cyclists or walkers. Very little, if any flat terrain here though..!! You are either going uphill, or down. Typical Scottish Borders... 😊 Extremely quiet area, but the silence most of the time, is quite literally 'Golden'....!! Very hard to fault from our visits there recently..

The apartment was just like a home from home.

The apartment was just like a home from home. Everything we needed for our stay was there. A fully equipped kitchen, with pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery, cups, glasses and plates, oh and a bottle of fizz in the fridge. Beautiful clean bedding and plenty of space to hang clothing, a lovely clean shower room with fresh towels. A lovely comfy sitting room, a front and back garden. Absolutely perfect in every way

Beautiful accommodation with views from our room.

Beautiful accommodation with views from our room. We had a good nights sleep, lovely food and the staff were very welcoming. Only thing not so good was the WiFi which was intermittent and downstairs only.
