My mum was born in Carfin, and we visited relatives there quite frequently - mostly passed on now. My wife and I were on our way to a holiday in the highlands so we decided to break our journey in Motherwell. I was last there about fifty years ago, so everywhere was very different! We stayed at the Innkeepers Lodge for a nearby family reunion. Accommodation easy to find as just off M74. Strathclyde Park offered a quiet place for a stroll or bustle of amusement Park for younger generation.Guest review byDouglas
