Always faithful to the Grosvenor. It’s our 3rd stay here, always at the same time of the year and we ´ll keep coming back because the staff is very friendly (Hi Debbie), there ´s a car park and the hotel is so well situated near the Hoe and the ferries.

Brilliant location walking distance to everything. Great rooms, lashings of instant hot water with great pressure. All staff were brilliant. Breakfast was to die for, and sets you up for the day. The owner is hands on when there and helped us with where to go and see. Would definitely stay there again.

Arriving from Australia and driving straight down to Plymouth the Fox was our first good night sleep in the Uk. We anticipated our arrival time to be around 6pm and our beautiful host was there to meet us. My wife being in the building industry was very impressed by the standard of the renovation and the quality of work. Warm and inviting! Would definitely stay here again. Unfortunately we didn’t have more time but I would have loved to have spent a sunny afternoon on penthouse rooftop with wine a glass of wine. Next time! Thankyou to our wonderful host. Xx

A 20 minute brisk walk down to Noss Mayo and the friendly atmosphere of the locals is recommended. We visited "The Swan" pub and ate a nice Sunday lunch before heading back up the hill to our accommodation. For those that are a little unsteady on their legs, the hills may be a little challenging. If driving, be prepared for the unexpected as the single lane country roads can and often require drivers to reverse and give way to oncoming traffic. Noss Mayo and the surrounding area is beautiful and shows that we have all that is needed here in the UK for a holiday away, The UK has so many charming places to visit, we just need to open our eyes and appreciate them.

The most beautiful village! Ate in The Swan - superb!

The most beautiful village! Ate in The Swan - superb! Spent many a high tide at Pope's Quay crabbing and jumping in the water. Played tennis in the courts. Walked around the headland - spectacular scenery. This really is one of the prettiest parts of the UK I have ever been to.
