Arrival and welcome was warm and friendly the receptionist insisted on helping carry the heavy suitcases up to the room, AND we were given a complementary upgrade to a bigger room. The room was fantastic with a perfect view over the harbour. Huge, comfortable bed and gigantic bathroom. There was a party until 2 am on our first night , just below our room, and we were worried it would keep us awake, but we heard absolutely nothing. We found a 3km (3 mile?) walking circuit around the coast and the hills leaving from the hotel, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was excellent and every single one of the service staff were friendly helpful and professional

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right in front of the pier, offering a breathtaking view. My room seemed to have been recently renovated, with a modern and excellent bathroom. The view from the window was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was lovely, with a good selection of food. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it!

It is beautiful, truly a hidden ‘Glen’ !! We felt so welcome with fresh bread and milk, every item and placement in the apartment was so thoughtful and easy to use. My family and I particularly enjoyed the morning and evening view from the front door over looking the beautiful garden. I am very particular about cleanliness, and truly it was above and beyond my expectations. I couldn’t be more happier. We were glad to stay for two nights, felt like home away from home.

We had 3 nights but could easily have stayed for more.

We had 3 nights but could easily have stayed for more. Driving on often single track roads takes a little while to get around, but this was a great base for seeing the island. We cooked our own meals using the well-equipped kitchen - which had most of the staples such as seasonings and oil. We bought local haunch of venison in Portree which is 10 minutes away, and made a sauce from the blackberries in the lane to accompany it. Our best meal of the whole holiday. Perhaps not the ideal location for a 1 night stay - but great for 3+
