Beautiful location , the hosts are so welcoming , great place to just relax and unwind for a few days , enjoyed going fruit picking on site , lovely little coffee shop on site with delicious home made cakes and pots of jams and honey available to buy

This was a beautiful property in a central location, the best bit was the off road parking which gave me comfort and peace of mind knowing I hadn’t parked somewhere I shouldn’t and would wake up to a ticket. The owner was really lovely, helpful and pleasant. My brother lives in Brentwood and we stayed here for an anniversary party so we will definitely be staying again.

For walkers, the public footpaths are among the best signed...

For walkers, the public footpaths are among the best signed and maintained that we have ever experienced in UK. Chipping Ongar itself is an attractive small town with an accessible Sainsburys and plenty of pubs and eateries. We had a delicious, good value lunch at the White Hart pub in nearby Moreton.

Onger is quant ,I stayed at the Mulberry , the Italian restaurant,very nice decor relaxing food and service full marks . The post office and coffee room ,again sweet , A good refreshing menu , Just rural England at its best Finalising ,the people (Ongar )friendly . The trip friendly to the pocket .

The receptionist was exceptional, friendly, informative, helpful and just perfect service. Our room was exceptionally clean, fresh and very well designed with high quality finishes all around. We stayed with 2 dogs and the room was just perfect and exceeded expectations. We would stay again in a heart beat. The hotel and grounds are lovely and it is a real gem.

The property and hotel were lovely. The room was nice, and everything was clean, and there were a few pleasant lounge areas. I wish I'd gotten to spend more than one night. The cooked breakfast was very good.

beautiful house, with substantial grounds. As it caters for pets too this was a perfect property to stay and close to Ongar itself. We stayed in the courtyard properties as we had a dog.
