I stayed for a week in August and really enjoyed it. The room was lovely, cosy and very clean. I loved all the little extra touches. The hosts were very kind and helpful . The cleaning lady did an excellent job. The location was perfect. I'm planning my next trip here.

We were visiting family in Sunderland and mostly ate there.

We were visiting family in Sunderland and mostly ate there. We ate once - and would definitely go again - at The Half Moon pub which is about 5 minutes drive from the hotel. A very wide menu; plenty of food; lovely staff and warm and comfortable. There are a very few other venues but there is far more in Seaham itself or, of course, Sunderland. There is a lovely cafe called the North cafe on the coast just outside Seaham which is gorgeous though they need to fix the loo door locks! (We did tell them). The roads around Peterlee are new, wide and modern and it is easy to get around. Peterlee is essentially a village and we did not expect to make it our place for more than an overnight accommodation (or in our case 4 nights of a family visit). We are not a young couple and can only comment from the viewpoint of seasoned travellers in our mid-70s!

Kim & the girls made us feel very welcome. They were very friendly and catered to our every need and nothing was ever too much for them to do when we asked for help or had a query. Hotel was immaculate and we couldn’t have stayed in a better hotel. Breakfast was spot on too. Will definitely be returning next time we head to Peterlee & we will be recommending to everyone we know.

had a lovely 2-night seaside break at the SEASIDE SPACIOUS apartment in Peterlee. The apartment was bright, roomy, and had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. It was the perfect base for exploring the coast and enjoying some peaceful downtime. Everything was clean and well-kept, and the stay was smooth from start to finish. A great spot for a short getaway — I’d definitely come back!

We just returned from this hotel today after spending the weekend there. It is absolutely fabulous and the photos are accurate. Very stylish and comfortable. Large room, large and lovely modern shower. Rachel looked after us extremely well and single handedly cooked a lovely full English breakfast the following morning. We enjoyed a walk along the beach. Excellent hotel.

It was lovely to go back to a home and not a hotel room. We could chill out together on the sofas, watching a bit of tv before retiring to bed. Everything was there for us, towels, toiletries, refreshments, and the little gift left for us on arrival was a touch of class.
