Our host was helpful, cheery and thoughtful, the room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, and our breakfast was just lovely. We enjoyed being a little out of town with those gorgeous views and the quiet at night.

I had stayed here 6 years ago and was very impressed with changes. The room appeared to be brand new-especially the bathroom. The location was great. Easy pick up by my relatives and easy walk to stores, McDonalds and the train station. Breakfast was very good. Wonderful hot foods and plenty of fruit and nuts for my cereal. My only problem was getting to the breakfast before closing . I slept so well that I had to rush down at last minute several times. Staff were friendly and responsive. To top it off, the daily price was lower that others that I had seen in town.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION. Clean, spacious attic apartment with separate lounge and bedroom, both with tvs. Comfortable sofa bed in lounge. Easy self check in. Fully stocked kitchen, with bread, croissants, cereals, jam, juice, milk, eggs, coffee, tea etc. provided for breakfast. Cookies and crisps for tv snacking too. Clean and well kept hallway access. Room was exceptionally quiet despite being directly next to the road. Good free parking at the back of the apartment. Highly recommend.

Well, the Stay Inn what can I say absolutely amazing! I would recommend to stay here and I shall be back if I need to be in Portadown again. It's 2 minute walk to Asda and the rest of the town. I booked a twin room, check in was so easy, got the keys from the lock box at the entrance and got placed with ease. The Inn is super secure for those in need of that feeling it is 100!! and excellent services from kitchen to laundry. Laundry services is exceptional Frederick had two loads done and dusted on the day I asked them to be done. The Inn Keeper is wonderful man full of stories that are full of mass wonder. He has lead an exceptional life and is a wise man. Always smiling and helpful :) I will miss Frederick! The room was immaculate you can smell the cleaning products used so you know it's clean! It is also very tidy and well presented/kept through out. The kitchen comes with everything you need hob microwave fridge cupboard plenty of room for your food and drinks. All utensils provided to a high standard of hygiene. Also smell the cleaning products used there. The shower is so so good there is a normal shower head and a ceiling shower head for when you need an extra spa feeling. The room comes with full dressed beds blankets pillows cushions and towels for your stay. Immaculate! The beds are super comfy the quilts are super thick had great nights sleep every night. Can not express how welcoming it in here. How safe it feels to stay here and due to limited rooms (4) it is also wonderfully quiet. The other guests that were there were also lovely people and were able to have a good laugh all together waiting for the kettle to make tea. Had such an amazing wonderful time honestly would recommend to everybody to stay. As a woman I can tell you it passes the Granny level of welcoming it truly felt like a home away from home. WiFi available the TV in the room is a smart TV can log into my flix prime Disney the works.

Idyllic rural location - cows in field at fence, chickens around property, wildlife and birds yet only 15 minutes from big town, supermarkets etc for self-catering. Need car to be in this location. Grand-daughter (nearly 3) in party - property fenced - outdoor area - lots of kiddie size chairs (including rocker) - lots of toys including ride-on - cot, bunks - VERY suitable for children. Plenty of room inside - we had some very wet weather (September visit). A beautiful Northern Ireland country cottage with very helpful and delightful host! Easy access to main Northern Ireland tourist attractions - and the south.

As I grew up there I can't quite see it as a holiday place.

As I grew up there I can't quite see it as a holiday place. However it has pleasant countryside round it. for car travellers it is close to Lough Neagh and the City of Armagh an the countryside round it. There are good restaurants and pleasant coffee shops. The town centre is easy to get round and there is a good local bus service.

We only stayed in Portadown because it was convenient, Daughter had a singing exam and we were heading to Banbridge the next day, but we had a very enjoyable walk through the town, browsing in the shops, we ate in Greggs which was lovely and the staff were very kind. The weather was also lovely, which was a bonus.

I was visiting relatives of my grandparents who left Portadown for America in 1865. We had wonderful reunions and I was able to meet new members of the family. The town looked great. I have come here off and on since 1976 and Portadown seems much improved from earlier times.

When it comes to accommodation in Portadown, Bannview B&B is the only game in town. Thankfully it is excellent. Just a 5 minute walk from the High Street, the room was hugh, about twice the size of a Dublin room that's you'd pay twice as much for. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is cooked to order.
