Santon Bridge has a lovely pub where we had a delicious home cooked meal. There are also tea rooms but we didn’t visit that. The drive to Gosforth village is around 15/20 mins (where there is a well stocked Budgens, pubs, restaurant and delightful coffee shop.) The surrounding country roads are mainly quiet but there are many sharp bends and narrow places with single lane passing places.
