We liked Sedbergh very much, people were friendly & although well into autumn when we went, still plenty of pleasant walks to do. We saw pheasant’s, woodpecker, Heron, red squirrel whilst out on our walks. Lots of Owls hooting at night. Good cafes & pubs for nice food. We particularly liked The Dalsman pub. The Thirsty Rambler was a good place for a stop off. Fairfield Mill one to visit whilst in the area too.

Caw Cottage is simply wonderful.

Caw Cottage is simply wonderful. It has everything you will need for a relaxing stay in the Yorkshire Dales. Perfectly placed to explore this beautiful area and with Sedbergh just a few miles down the road with a number of good pubs/restaurants, everything is within easy reach. Caw Cottage is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The bed is super comfortable too. The hosts are nearby, very friendly and helpful, but very respectful of your privacy. Caw Cottage is a gem of a place. Well worth the visit.

Sedbergh is such a beautiful place and a throw back to years gone by. We have visited here for six years and just love it. The locals are very friendly and there are great places to eat and drink. The scenery is stunning and there are some fabulous walks. Visit the ‘Thirsty Rambler’ for a great pint.

We used to live here - so we're biased! Lots to do: Excellent food at The Dalesman. Lovely little shops, especially for crafts. Farfield Mill is great for browsing and coffee / lunch. They run workshops too! Great walking in the area.

Lovely little town.

Lovely little town. Fabulous centre for walking, the Howgills on the doorstep and other fells close by. Not far to Hawes which is another lovely dales town. Good choice of eateries. The Dalesman restaurant was excellent. Real ale pub too, the Thirsty Rambler what more can you want

Great location very near shops and pubs , quiet , parking available , well equipped kitchen . Friendly neighbour. Good walks from the door , hills and river walks . (Crown green bowls nearby welcome people for taster sessions ). Lots door hooks for items around house. We took foldable medium size dog cage 1m x 0.5 m , used in living / dining room , space a bit tight but managed .

Wuthering Heights was comfortable, warm and clean and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable and despite being quite a central location it was very quiet. Jackie was great to communicate with and responded quickly when contacted. Sedbergh and the surrounding area is really beautiful and there is lots to see and do.

The house has been renovated completely - photographs of the project in the info folder - and everything has been done really nicely. Very comfortable and spacious. The Dalesman pub garden, accessible through a gap in the hedge opposite, is nearer than the bar in most hotels, and the pub also served very good food.
