The bed was comfy, I slept really well. The staff were friendly, helpful and willing. The Eagle and Child is in a brilliant location for bus travel to Blackpool or Lancaster or Preston. The local shops and boutiques are full of local produce.

The area is beautiful and peaceful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and thoughtfully laid out. The bed is very comfortable. We arrived 5.30pm and had purchased a pie for dinner. Didn't fancy going out for dinner. So we needed Julie's help to heat up the pie. Julie not only heated up the pie but the serving plates as well. On a cold night, that was super nice. It was an overnight stay but we left feeling cared for. It was raining and chilly. However Julie's place was warm and really comfortable.

What an amazing little hidden Gem we found! If you love a quiet tranquil place with beautiful views all to yourself then this is the place to be. Me and my partner booked this very spontaneously as we had a rare night without the kids , and it didn’t disappoint, it was beautiful inside and out with all the facilities included , it also had a very cozy cottage feel to it which I love . We really enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub and waking up to see all the rabbits running around in the field. I also like that it had private gates on the property and a private drive way, the owner ( Summer) was absolutely lovely and very helpful . We will definitely be returning .
