First of all it’s placement at Isle of Mull! This place is amazing, beautiful and as authentic you could wish. Second, the staff did upgrade our room without charging any extra, so we arrived to a suite with an unexplainable view to the sea. So pretty! The Western Isles Hotel made space for us at the restaurant and served a big, great meal. If we should ask for anything here, it would be an bit extra heat, but with the heat from everywhere else this place (generously) it didn’t play that big a role. Thanks for a great stay!

This is one of my most favourite places in Scotland. I absolutely loved everything about staying here. The room was stunning, divine view of the bay, excellent size, comfy cosy bed, kettle etc. I wish I'd stayed a month. Staff were so warm, friendly and Taylor (receptionist) was exemplary in her advice about what things to see and do in my short time, guidance around dining and over and above when I left my laptop behind and called on her for help. She is a legend!!!!!!

The hosts were super friendly and welcoming and their dogs were lovely! We loved the traditional breakfast, which you could choose yourself, and they even had vegan and vegetarian options. Overall a very familiar atmosphere. It was also very close to the town centre and the room was very clean and comfortable. We would totally visit again :)

The town and the island of Mull such a beautiful place with lots of adventures to be had fantastic scenery and the people or great. Highly recommend. Roads there are alot of single track roads with plenty of passing places and seems to work well. Plenty of wildlife as well.

Picturesque fishing town definitely worth a visit.

Picturesque fishing town definitely worth a visit. Access from the ferry port is via narrow roads with passing places. Numerous walks especially enjoyed the trail to the lighthouse. Distillery and cheese factory are a must. Good restaurant and art at the gallery on the seafront

Beautiful, quiet place with happy people.

Beautiful, quiet place with happy people. The restaurants are very good as well. Be prepared for hills, though, unless your accommodation is on the main street. My daughter and I had really good walks there. There were all sorts of ages visiting.

Tobermory was quaint with a variety of shops and cafes.

Tobermory was quaint with a variety of shops and cafes. We were there for just one day and visited the distillery, then walked around the coast to the lighthouse. We actually stayed outside of Tobermory but thought the village would have been a better location. Unfortunately we could not get accommodation there.

The entire location is stunning.

The entire location is stunning. Be prepared for lots of photos. Just walk along the row of shops,get some fish and chips or an ice cream and enjoy the view. Some accommodation places are high up on the hill so if mobility is a problem then recommend down on waterfront level. Most accommodations have rooms up stairs as well. I would return again. Tobermory is just beautiful.

Picturesque great little seafront.

Picturesque great little seafront. There are a number of nice restaurants and bars. Shops catered for all needs whether touristy or supplies. Sea trips were easy to find and the ferry from Tobermory to Ardnamurchan was also a smooth experience.

Good sized clean room with a comfortable bed and warm bedding. Same for the bathroom. Excellent kitchen and lounge facilities with enough tables and sofas for everyone. Good parking outside the property and well located between Tobermory and Craignure for ferries and other boat trips/ferries. Lovely view of Sound of Mull from lounge, with plenty of greenery and sheep close by. Able to walk down to water's edge.

The location was fantastic, right on the harbour front in Tobermory. The staff were so friendly and helpful, it felt like a family welcome. The food is also exceptional. All in all an absolutely fantastic place to spend a week on the fabulous island of Mull.

Mishnish room, all the rooms have names, our quirky room contained a double spa bath. Which was great after all the walking. The hotel is the yellow one in the photos. Great food. Relaxed atmosphere. Sea views from the room are awesome. Well done.x
