The host was very kind and very friendly. She greeted us with whisky when we arrived, and told us the story of Gordon House. She also gave us a good recommendation for dinner (as she doesn't provide it herself on weekdays anymore). The room was clean, and everything was as described. The building is old, so don't expect fancy modern interiors, but everything is clean and the owners constantly work on improving it. And I must mention that the full Scottish breakfast was very good.

A lovely BNB that feels like home. Dianne is a fabulous host - welcoming, friendly, and helpful. She gave us wonderful suggestions for dinner and sight seeing in the area. A very comfortable, quiet room and delicious breakfast. We enjoyed chatting with Dianne and the other guests while enjoying breakfast. We highly recommend this place.

Really nice house, well furnished with great facilities for cooking/washing/relaxing etc. The perfect place for a stay whether an international visitor (like us) or people looking for a stay within the UK. The room was exceptional (very large, beautifully furnished and warm) and it had the best view of my trip. Service was lovely, as was the food. I loved the coal fire in the lounge. For a walker the bath was most welcome allowing me to ease aching joints
