We liked everything about this hotel . The location was perfect. You can walk everywhere. The hotel is also very dog friendly as we had our dog with us . The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble . We will definitely be back .

Very clean and well equipped for our overnight stay even had tea coffee sugar , milk and a bottle of water lovely touch! We were able to park our motorbike right outside the property. Very private small house not overlooked by anything or anyone. A lot of love and pride has gone into the house. Although we never met the owners instructions were clear and they were easy reachable

Tina the host was excellent. Supermarkets were walking distance which made it easy to get food and drink. Hot tub was nice. The house was nice and warm and the beds were comfortable.

The warm welcome to the Full Moon Inn was a wonderful end to our long day of travel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious dinner seated in the back garden as the sun was setting. Our room upstairs was beautiful, light filled, clean and comfortable. We loved the attention paid to using local products in the room. There is a great area to park next to the Inn that has easy access to the accommodation

    Fieldways is an Edwardian mansion with most of the beautiful original features and some furniture still intact. The person responsible for it was William Richard Brown - a man of means and local renown - who funded the lovely town hall in Trowbridge. Fieldways has a wonderful old world ambience, clean, comfortable rooms with many of the communal areas under used and large parts of the building, not used at all, which is a shame. Do go to see it and enjoy a peaceful stay there before some shark developers grab and destroy the beauty of it forever as they always do. Oh forgot to mention the swimming pool and gym, all under used.

    I only stayed in Trowbrige as I was booked into Southwest Rustproofing. I do not recomend Trowbridge or staying here for a long holiday. Good for 1 or 2 nights if you are on a budget. A bit small for 2 but could be done

    Really great guided tour of Parade House and the Georgian...

    Really great guided tour of Parade House and the Georgian architecture around the town. Very interesting museum, lovely Christmas Tree display in St James's church. #1 Coffee shop was very nice too. However, there are very few places to stay or eat dinner - it's clearly a town that is struggling.

    Sorry, I didn't see much of Trowbridge as I was going to a...

    Sorry, I didn't see much of Trowbridge as I was going to a wedding at Faulkland... However, getting through traffic in Trowbridge was not easy, either on Friday pm or Saturday morning! I guess traffic issues are not unusual though, so it would have been nice to have had time to explore the old town on foot - maybe next time!

    Visited the Weavers Market and the stall holders were friendly. It was slightly smaller than expected. We also travelled to Bradford upon Avon, about 3 miles away, and the area around the canal was lovely.

    the location was on the outskirts of Trowbridge with easy access to the town but quiet at night. the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were all very friendly and very helpful. the restaurant was excellent and the food first rate. breakfast was served exactly as requested and the chef made sure that my wife's food allergy was catered for.

    Quirky hotel in need of some TLC, but my room was comfortable, clean, a good bed and a fan helped as there is no air conditioning. The breakfast was help your self to a small cereal and yoghurt selection but the full English was lovely. Staff shortages on the Sunday meant delays in breakfast service but we were in no hurry.

    Absolutely lovely little cabin at the end of hosts garden. Completely private with an area out front to sit and eat or have a drink. Inside absolutely everything you need and an incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. So peaceful. Gina is a wonderful host! Highly recommended if you need somewhere to stay in the area.
