Everything! The room was clean and everything was well thought through - from the heated towel rack, to the colour coordinated furniture, to the delicious breakfasts, and so much more! The view from the room is beautiful as well! The host, Vicki, is super friendly and very prompt in replying to my queries. The message she sent before the stay also helped orientate me to Skye and the dining options available. There are numerous dining options available nearby as well

It was in a great location, it was clean and comfortable. It was a little dated but that really didnt matter to us. The hosts had great communication, and it had everything we needed and we will most likely be booking this again next year.

Loved this wee cottage, prefect place to relax after a busy day exploring Skye. Slept like a baby both nights it was so quiet. The kitchen was stocked with utensils needed so we chose to cook our own meals both nights. Beautiful views from lounge window, enjoyed with local seafood and a glass of wine. Perfection !

We stayed at the caravan purely to facilitate an early morning ferry to Harris. We had fish and chips from the local takeaway which were very overpriced for what they were. They’re clearly taking advantage!

A close drive to Quiraing and The Storr.

A close drive to Quiraing and The Storr. We hiked both on the same day as well as touring the Skye Museum of island life. There is not much to the town, but we had great meals at the Ferry Inn and Uig Hotel. The views are lovely.

I love Uig.

I love Uig. The locals were all so friendly and a wealth of information. It was easy to get around the island by car from Uig, and convienently close to the ferry (we caught it from Uig to Isle of Lewis).

We spent time in Uig because we were taking the ferry to...

We spent time in Uig because we were taking the ferry to North Uist and then again when we returned from Harris. There are a couple of options for food- The Ferry Inn and Uig Hotel, but they need to be booked in advance, then a cafe and a bar which does takeout food at the harbour. The brewery has a shop there, there’s a pottery and a petrol station and a small shop for food. One interesting place we found nearby was the Museum of Island Life at Kilmuir and the cemetery next door which had a monument to Flora Macdonald and is the burial place of fashion designer Alexander McQueen!

Rather small village with only a few restaurants and you...

Rather small village with only a few restaurants and you need to make reservations if you want to have dinner. If not, you can drive to Portree, which is a 20 minute drive. Uig is nicely situated for visiting the northern part of the island of Skye.

We loved this B&B near Uig and wish we could have stayed longer. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Great traditional breakfast in a lovely breakfast room. Note to prospective customers- you would need a car/ personal transport to access the property as it is in the countryside.

Modern, well equipped, 2 one bedroom luxury ensuite rooms. Purpose built, everything high quality, choosen with care. Big picture window with views to the sea, the shore is at the end of the front garden. We have stayed in less luxurious 4 Star hotels.

An absolute gem of a B&B. Great location (prefer Uig to Portree) and modern rooms, good shower and beds. Staff were so welcoming and they went out of their way to cater for our dietary requirements at breakfast.

Location is wonderful with views of Uig Harbour. House is comfy and well resourced. Only negative was one bathroom with electric shower which never throws out much water. Great holiday though.
