Lovely old building with bags of character. Our room was really well equipped, warm and the bed was extremely comfortable. Handy off-street parking behind the hotel (although only made aware of this through reading reviews before our stay, this wasn't mentioned in the pre-arrival info sent). Breakfast was a highlight, absolutely delicious cooked breakfast with the full works! A very comfortable stay and good value.

The hotel had period charm with modern convienence which was a perfect combination for our short break. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The room, beds, and chairs were very comfortable and the view from our room over the front gardens was delightful. The public rooms were cosy and comfortable. The food was delicious and again the service was excellent.
