Hotel room was very nice, tidy and comfy. We enjoyed our stay, staff were really friendly and breakfast was delicious. Would like to say special thanks to manager who meet us at the reception. We were going to our friend wedding and we arrived early as we wanted to leave our bags. Manager immediately checked if he can swap our rooms so we can check in straight away. The best experience and outstanding service. Will definitely come back.

What a beautiful, lavish and fascinating place.

What a beautiful, lavish and fascinating place. An example of what all the money in the world and more can buy you a few hundred years ago. The guides are passionate and so knowledgable about the history of the building. There is a cafe/coffee shop to the rear and a gift shop accessible from inside and outside the house. If you like wine, recommend the Waddesdon range... an especially fine Pinot Noir that we had in the hotel we stayed in and bought a bottle from the shop to take home.

We were visiting Waddesdon for the Christmas fair, which was magical. There's something there for everyone. The house is amazing, and was decorated to perfection. Once it was dark, the projections on the house were fantastic, as was the light trail. This was our 2nd visit for the Christmas fair, and it did not disappoint. A lovely experience.

Waddesdon Manor is just extraordinary!

Waddesdon Manor is just extraordinary! French chateau style and packed with mainly pre-revolution French furniture. The gardens are lovely and we were lucky enough to go at daffodil time - highly recommended!

Waddesdon is a small village, about 5 miles mid way between Aylesbury and Bicester. Very handy for National Trust Waddesdon Manor, which is a lovely place to visit and also has a decent children’s woodland playground. There are a couple of pubs, which were recommended by the B&B.

The sheer grandeur and splendour of the house and its contents, the immaculate gardens and the knowledge of the room guides. The garden tour was especially valuable in setting the context of the house, which we toured afterwards, as Ferdinand's setting for his art and other collections and for his entertaining.

Waddesdon manor really know how to do Christmas.

Waddesdon manor really know how to do Christmas. We loved the lights , decorations and Christmas market. I'm looking forward to going again to see the rest of the house. It was just like stepping into a French chateau. If you're for the walk to and from the car park is great but if not the bus is a good choice.

We thought the room was only semi-quiet but what with the road and the garden in use with customers and a wedding party there was never going to be a quiet option. The room was well blinded and curtained to keep out the worst of the heat. The duvet was suitable for the temperature and the bed comfortable. No noise from other guests in bedrooms although the hotel was probably full. Breakfast was fine. We enjoyed our walk around the Manor grounds but did not have time, due to another fixture, to go around the house.

Location was in a beautiful old English village. Hotel was a Grade II Listed property, very tastefully decorated and modernised. My room (16) was spacious, neutral colours, excellent quality cotton bed linen. Staff professional yet friendly and welcoming.
