Incredible historic building recently renovated. The rooms are very cosy and comfy, and very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed high quality and original dishes at the restaurant. Breakfast was also excellent!

Highly recommended! Very friendly host, rooms comfortable and perfectly clean, great breakfast, nice recently renovated and refurbished house. walking distance to historic city center. We spent a night here on our way back from Scotland to the ferry to the Netherlands (both Newcastle and Hull are not too far away). We had a nice dinner in Townhouse 59 btw.

Great cottage. Well positioned - a couple of minutes walk into town and close to the train station. Spotlessly clean with really comfortable beds. Everything you need and the showers are excellent. Would stay again.

We loved all the little touches to make the cottage cosy and welcoming for an autumn stay. The central heating was perfect but the gas burner in the living room was a bonus for a boost on blustery nights. There were also lots of fleecy blankets to snuggle under if needed. We loved the large, well-equipped kitchen and nicely appointed bathroom with rainfall shower. It wasn’t really the weather for it when we stayed but the property also has a large garden and decked area which would be great in fine weather.

Morpeth Court is a building I have driven past many times and often wondered about,so when I realised I had the opportunity to spend the night I took my chance and booked a night for my wife and I. The appartment is spotlessly clean and is very modern,with 2 floors.Only used the one bedroom and the bed was very comfortable ,I had a great sleep Downstairs in the kitchen there is all you could need for a short stay.Did take a bit of warming up when we arrived but it was very frosty outside. Location is spot on,literally a 2 minute walk to the High St and bars and restaurants and there is a lovely park with a river walk right opposite. Maria,the owner was super helpful,and her access instructions were clear and easy to follow. Had a lovely night and thought it was great value,I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and fully intend to have a return visit,many thanks
