It is a quiet residential area with a local corner shop just around the corner where you can immediately buy milk and other stuff for a family with little kids. Tesco is only a 2-minute drive or a 5-7 minute walk away. The host was very nice, have to call him to ask for the passkey for the key box, answered the calls straight away and explained everything. The bedrooms were nice and clean with new bedsheets replaced.

Shibden Mill Inn is amazing! Tucked away in a pretty valley 10 mins from Halifax. Our room was really comfortable and clean, and the food at the hotel was superb! Breakfast was really good, with lots of choice. We were visiting the theatre in Halifax and the staff organised us a taxi from the hotel with no issues. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Halifax.

The building presents very well, atmosphere in all areas was welcoming, staff were courteous but not over attentive - I guess in short I felt at home there (i am a return customer) and I have not rated anyone else with a '10'

This hotel is wonderful. Was a little worried from reading the mixed reviews, but wow, our room, welcome and everything provided has been top notch. Was even upgraded to a nicer room and welcomed with some beautiful bakery treats and a hand written note of welcome from the guest service team. Very happy and after a long drive, this welcome with a cup of tea whilst admiring the view of Bradford from the window is truly lovely. We’re in room 422, which is new and really lovely. Can’t fault it and will definitely stay here again plus recommend to others. Well done to guest services for creating such a lovely, unique, comfortable stay.
