The village and countryside of Hay on Wye are stunning and interesting. The bookshops and the charming streets of the village need to be explored at leisure. There are many attractive getaways for families including farm visits--our three year old granddaughter had an enriching and fun time at Small Breeds Farm nearby. All we could have asked for was good weather. Ah well.

A great property in a beautiful area.

A great property in a beautiful area. The accommodation was spacious and stylish. The proximity to Hay on Wye made it easy to go for the day and evening. The courtyard was a private green space and very safe for parking.

You need a car to get around.

You need a car to get around. We were a family group, and enjoyed walking Begwyns, Visiting Hay on Wye, Enjoyed a visit to Cider & Perry Orchard, Loved Tintern Abbey, Symonds Yat and Ross on Wye. Loved Town Trail at the village on Weobley. An hours trip to the Elan Valley Reservoirs was great. Shopping in Hereford. The Queenswood Arboretum & Bodenham Lake nr Leominster is worth a visit. Plus some nice pub dining gardens around..
