While our hotel was beautiful and calm, Wolverhampton seems to have nothing to offer other than shopping malls, fast food kiosks, and ugly buildings. But perhaps we did not give the city a fair chance, as everyone we met was friendly, kind and happy with the place they lived in.

We travelled all over the UK and Ireland, and Wolverhampton was a disappointment. Whereas people were friendly to us in almost all the cities we visited, Wolverhampton folks, in general, were neutral or dismissive.

Was assigned a room, however the room had a stranger sleeping in. Called host in which he was blunt and made sure I messaged him. Given a different room, which had no working lock. Doors to garden were accessible through my room however the door was able to be opened by anyone. Didn’t feel safe or clean

Wolverhampton is a very nice city, has good restaurants,...

Wolverhampton is a very nice city, has good restaurants, shopping centre and more. Very easy to get via public transport. There is a indoor soft play and bowling in Mander centre where there is loads of shops and restaurants. We had breakfast at Starbucks and Macdonald's, afternoon tea at M&S and dinner at Nandos. All the food was lovely and brilliant customer service. There's a lovely park nearby, short bus ride, bus num 1, to West park, big play park for the kids, a lake and plenty of space for picnics.

Loads of history and culture if you look for it.

Loads of history and culture if you look for it. The art gallery is fantastic and free to enter. Also, the gigantic park with a bandstand, lake, mature trees and flowerbeds, loads of benches and green space plus a cafe serving hot & cold drinks, cakes and ice creams. The city's Victorian architecture is gorgeous but sadly the vibe of the city centre area is quite tired and neglected. The city is gloriously multiciltural and seems very friendly. It is extremely walkable but there are also buses and trams. I would like to return to explore more and walk aling the canals.

Wolverhampton is a beautiful city.

Wolverhampton is a beautiful city. There are lots of things to do. We went to the shopping centre. There was easy parking, good shops and it was very clean. The stadium is easy to get to (we didn't go on a match day). We went for a tattoo session, and I recommend New Ink Tattoo Studio. We will definitely be back for more tattoo sessions and then we will get to know the city better.

Clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need for your stay. It was a great location to get into the town centre and good facilities nearby. The host was readily available for check in instructions and were really helpful. A bit silly but we stayed on a warm day and we loved the windows as they opened wide to let a breeze in (have stayed in some properties that have felt really closed in and suffocating). Highly recommend would definitely want to stay here again if I was visiting Wolverhampton, thanks for having us.

Levels of comfort - great bed and nice big room. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Convenient location - close to the city centre. Free parking on site which is a rarity. We usually stay here when we visit Wolverhampton. I used to be a pupil here years ago - the first time we stayed we were given the headmistress's old office so I could relive old times!

The room was a good size and the buffet breakfast too. The location is good for visitors to Wolverhampton as walking distance from the train station and trams, as well as the city centre. I like to walk and run, and there are good routes available nearby, by getting on to the canal.
