Best views to Ushba from the room. I stayed here both in summer and in January, in winter it's warm and cozy inside, the internet works great. You will enjoy excellent meals and warm hospitality.

Very nice and hospitable owner, helpful people, tasty breakfast. We were on hiking from mestia to mazeri and when were deathly tired in mazeri, somehow the owner found us on the road and gave us a lift to apartment. After they met us with dinner. Perfect location with easy access to the nearby facilities, restaurants, banks, shops, etc. The street where the hotel is located runs parallel to the main so it's very quit. The hotel itself is very comfortable, with beautiful interiors and well decorated. Our room had historical wall made of stones with looks stunning with fantastic mountain view as well as balcony. Breakfast is continental with local products and traditional svan options. We really enjoyed the taste and freshiness of the products as well as the passion and the way the breakfast was made. Additionally to mention is roasted coffee from the machine. This is super cool option as this was the only hotel in Georgia we stayed with good roasted coffee. And the last thing in the owners of the hotel Tamara and Ralf that make this place so unique and charming. Very friendly people with a deep knowledge of the local culture and traditions. You can always ask about the suggestions of what to visit, try and see nearby as well as have a friendly talk. Definitely recommended place when visiting Mestia.

Mazeri is marvelous place if you want to connect with nature...

Mazeri is marvelous place if you want to connect with nature. everything is authentic and not influenced by technology as it is in metropolitan areas. Air is clean and evening till morning is quiet. Godd place for hiking and camping, near by water falls and Ushba mountain has its impact on the place. I have not hiked until the Glacier however reaching waterfall area and crossing wooden bridges were thrilling enough for me. Just to highlight, as it is country side do not expect to have restaurants or Cafeteria or grocery shops. Locals with guesthouses and English language is not their preferred language. Russian language is commonly understood there. Expect simplicity and infrastructure of basic countryside with no complications. So far I had 3 visits to Mazeri, for sure I would prefer to have my own transportation to match my need and convince. If you would hire a driver there then should negotiate as prices varies and public transportation will be limited. Renting a horse is fun, if you cannot ride then can hire a guide along with the horse with extra pay. Hores rental is not expensive, during my visit about US $38 per day

It was a great trip for all of us.

It was a great trip for all of us. Many thanks to Murman and Bacho for their hospitality. Now we know 100% that Svaneti has not only the most beautiful mountains, but also the most hospitable people. All the conditions were 100% as described, the hosts did everything possible to make our stay with them comfortable. A special thanks for the organization of the birthday party for our friend. In general - everything was very good. Thank you for this stay.
