Calm, relaxed area.

Calm, relaxed area. Away from all of the pressure of the touristy places or the city. A nice place to unwind and, when desired, well situated to go exploring the west side of the island. You'll need a car and driving around is like playing Mario Kart with the steep and curvy roads. There are many things to see or do within 30 minutes drive or less. A chocolate museum with tastings, a coffee museum, hiking around the neighborhood or up to the volcano or various waterfalls, snorkeling and swimming at the local beaches or scuba diving at the Cousteau reserve and relaxing in the natural hotsprings, of course. And if you are into sunsets, this is a great place for you.

I could stay there forever.

I could stay there forever. You have the great sea life reserve Cousteau, hot baths (in the sea) in Bouillante, natural park just in 10 minutes by car. The disadvantage is that in the area there are not too many quality restaurants or shops. If you are looking for that you need to head in the direction of Grand Terre.

Comfortable, clean and well-equipped studio with absolutely wonderful views of the Jacques Cousteau Reserve and harbour of Bouillante. Friendly hosts and really a pleasure to stay here. We can only recommend Vue Mer, but bring a car as the access to the site is very, very steep. However, good exercise to walk back and forth to Carrefour :-)

The location is perfectly central in bouillante.. the view is fantastic to the sea and calm area to relax. The house is super spacious. Clean, and with all amenities. Especially to get mosquito nets was a blessing, as we did not have to use any chemical creams and sprays.
