The hotel is new, very nice. The rooms are nice and really clean. The service and staff is amazing. It's right next to the beach. At the pool, apart from beds and umbrellas they have cabanas as well. The breakfast is great, a good variety,also they make omlette from the ingredients you choose, fresh juices.

The location is perfect, the view is amazing. The room is spacious and very clean. The staff was very service oriented, and breakfast was delicious. The massage we booked was absolutely perfect, I would highly recommend it. And no need to bring your beach towel, you will get them from the hotel.

A few steps walk from the beach, mini market, taverns, rental car. The apartment hade a cozy and inviting feel. Well furnished and modern. Kitchen had more than enough essentials needed. Bathroom was very spacious and included a washing machine. Nectaria, the host was very kind and helpful. It was a perfect stay to say the least! I highly recommend!

We stayed in the 2-room apartment with balcony for 12 days. The apartment was very close to the beach and market, was always clean and had everything we needed for our holiday. And we can’t praise George enough. He was an fantastic host. He took care of the apartment every day, and cleaned the pool every morning to make it ready for the guests. He was easy to get in touch with, very polite and service minded, and made our stay beyond expected. We highly recommend George and his property!

Amazing views and a really nice pool also there’s a restaurant owned by them right across the road that has everything you need. Has spacious rooms and bathrooms and is also 15 minutes away from one of the most beautiful and famous lakes in Europe its absolutely stunning would highly recommend also really good price

First visit to Almirida was many years ago with young children and then years later as adults alone.It was still enjoyable and the proximity of everything nearby of this small but nicely presented resort was a winner for us. Sloping shallow sandy bay beach is brilliant. Plenty of good places to rent and lots of eateries of all kinds and all budgets. Bus to Chania is fairly regular ( in season) and doesnt take long. Drop off in Kalyves, the next town, is a good change of scenery as is Plaka up the hill. Taxi service seems 24 hrs and went over and above when we had a medical centre/hospital visit during stay. I think we will be coming here for a few years more in between other trips.

It was early October so Almirida was a little quieter which...

It was early October so Almirida was a little quieter which was perfect for us. Has nice holiday feel with plenty of places to relax and eat. Restaurants were very good and numerous. Beach was good and Kalyves was a 5 minute drive so many beach options. Can imagine in high season it could be busy but for us the timing in October was perfect.

Sandy beaches and warm and shallow sea.

Sandy beaches and warm and shallow sea. Great snorkelling round rocks near Tsunami restaurant. Easy bus into Chania for day trip - tickets and timetable available from nearby shop. Lots of good restaurants. Scuba diving - recommend Elephant Cave.

Almirida is a good seaside resort with safe beaches, numerous bars and restaurants, free parking and supermarkets. Very comfortable to wander around at all times of day and night. The bakery is not to be missed!!!!

Almirida has not changed much in the last 20 years.

Almirida has not changed much in the last 20 years. Some great Tavernas right on the beach and the beach itself is sheltered and safe for swimming. Although on some occasions it can get a bit windy. Bus service to Chania. 35 minutes from Chania airport in a car. Visit while you can.

Almyrida is a really small and quiet village.

Almyrida is a really small and quiet village. No crowds of tourists and no loud bars. Just a beautiful sea, a peaceful main street, and very tasty taverns and restaurants (Psaros was the best). The location is perfect! With a car, every day we went to explore nearby places: mountain villages, beach hopping, Chania, and Rethymno.

Perfectly located in centre of Almyrida which was what we wanted. Very spacious and comfortable with excellent facilities. The balcony was huge and gave as a good all round view of Almyrida. Great host who was very attentive. We loved the property and will be booking again next year.

The villa is excellently situated just a 6 minute walk from the restaurants, bars and beach at Almyrida. The pool and multiple seating areas are all very private. The accommodation itself suited our party of two couples perfectly with the separate ground floor rooms. Thoroughly recommended.

Perfect location with a sea view. Balcony faces north-west, so it is cool there almost all day and you can watch the sunset. The sea is just down, reachable via stairs. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary. Almirida is a nice small quiet village and has plenty of restaurants.
