We wanted to book for 6days but rooms were full and we were only able to book 1day in 1 room and 5 days in an other due to room availability. Upon arrival they told us they upgraded our room (chic) to a junior suite (with no extra charge!) so we could stay in that for the whole week and don't need to check in and check out again which was very kind first impression and made our day. Room were awesome, location is great easy to walk anywhere cool restaurants nearby, breakfast selection is enormous you can eat whatever you want, staff is super friendly. Pool is nice and warm with sunbeds.

Pothos was like a home from home. As a solo traveller you can sometimes feel a little bit uncomfortable in some hotels and apartments. This was never the case here. I was made to feel warmly looked after at every opportunity. It was such a lovely place. Hopefully i will be able to return in Sept this year. The accomodation is classically Greek apartment style but the rooms, surroundings, pool and bar area were spotless and there was an aurra of care. It is so clearly a treasured family business. The little things like a trip to the bar were made a pleasure as the welcome was so amazing. I feel blessed to have picked here to stay and to have met such great hosts.

The host Vasiliki is sooooo lovely, helpful, understanding, kind, respectful and reeeeally amazing! The place is amazing, the view is wonderful, the location is perfect, you have all the facilities you need for your stay! You are in a calm and comfortable area and you are close to everything! When we come back to Zakynthos, it will be definitely Parashis Studios!

Everything was a delight! The place is amazing, quiet and close to the sea… very close! The apartment was clean and styled well. I had a mosquito net on my comfortable bed and the windows too were organised with mosquito nets which is very important in such a place. The kitchen was equipped and everything worked well. Air con helps sleeping in the extremely warm nights! Laura and her son Evan are amazing hosts, nice to talk to and always careful about your needs. The guests were discrete and we were sharing the common spaces in harmony. The landscape is breathtaking and the sea is not very cold. Definitely bring the sea sandals or shoes with you to walk on the pebbles! I am really happy to have stayed at Laura’s and I will repeat the experience in the future!

    Friendly village , with plenty of nice bars and restaurants serving excellent good but we do recommend you hire a car for a few days as the island has some beautiful beaches to visit, Thd place is do friendly that I’ve meet people that come back every year . Anemos beach bar was favourite place to spend the day . Megan and George snd there team deliver great friendly service in a lovely setting

    Alykes is a small resort with great beach and restaurants, it is great for families with young children due to the shallow waters and sandy beach. Also good for couples who want good food and drink with a nice friendly vibe.

    If you like a quieter holiday, which has everything you need...

    If you like a quieter holiday, which has everything you need in the way of restaurants, shops, cocktail bars, beach etc... then Alykes is right for you. We loved it there. [ It is within walking distance of Alykanas too, which is busier and more your typical beach holiday. However that wasn't for us].

    Chilled resort with a very good selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Watersports on the beach, plenty of sunbeds. Lots of lovely walks and another resort close by. The locals are friendly and very helpful

    Alykes is an absolute gem of a place. Beautiful beaches. Very friendly locals. Love the mode of transport in the evening. Plenty of restaurants and food is delicious. It has enough to keep everyone happy. Not over commercialised. and not too busy. Just nice. We went early June. Temperature perfect. Fishandia and paradosiako restaurants are well worth a visit. Hakuna matata is just down from Golden Dolphin apartments is great for a spot of lunch. Plenty to choose from and lovely staff.

    I have been staying in Alykes for 35 years.

    I have been staying in Alykes for 35 years. It is a beautiful village with very friendly people, plenty of restaurants and bars without being overly noisy and a great base from which to explore the island.

    Lovely little apartment, clean up to date bathroom, bins emptied everyday. Towels were changed after day 3. Great value for money. If you are thinking of not booking because there isn’t a pool, hotels with oools allow you to go for free for the day and the apartments are so close to the beach. Harris was sweet and friendly (female owner) although a slight language barrier. Google translate was helpful. Plenty of kitchen utensils to make food.

    The rooms are really spacious, well equipped (there’s no TV, but we didn’t seem to miss it) and they all have a big balcony. Ours had a view of the Alykes lake and of the mountains. The staff is really great, very welcoming, hard working and always available to meet your needs! It was our second year here and definitely not our last! Big hugs for Kate and Isabelle! Thank you for everything!

    Very modern room and done out beautifully but a bit small, more like a hotel room, with tea and coffee making and small fridge. Lovely terrace with sea view. Beach towels provided which is always a plus. Very near to beach and restaurants and supermarket but off the road so quiet. Helpful English owners who own the bar nearby. Thank you for the wine and for letting us check out late.

    Great place to stay on the holiday. The localication is perfect - close to Alikes beach, restaurants, supermarket and cafes.. The apartment is big, very clean and have everything what we nedded. The owner, Mrs. Anna and her granddaughter were very kind, friendly and helpful. If we come back one day on Zakynthos, we will choose this place to stay.

    Lovely chilled and relaxing hotel.All the staff were friendly and helpful.If you have small children there is a play area in shade with toys in the garden.The food was always varied and well presented.Room and suites options mean a choice to suit your budget.The setting with sea views and hills is great with a sandy beach a five minute walk away.
