We liked the location the most. The apartment is by the road and on the other side is the sea. The nearest beach is 20m from the apartment. And the shop is 5 minutes walk. The owner of the house is always available. She lives in the same building. And we had her phone number available and told us to call in any matter. The apartment was very clean. There were fresh towels and we could exchange them for fresh ones at any time. There is access to WiFi. Mini garden with a shower and a terrace where you can eat breakfast and admire the view of the sea and the port. There is also a bike rental and a bus stop nearby from which you can go to other beaches. We rested and are very happy with the vacation. Greetings to Mrs. Elena. Stunning views and a relaxing stay at The Roof-Top. It's conveniently located to a supermarket and restaurants so right in the heart of the old town of Megalochori and an easy walk from the property to the port for the high-speed ferry. I loved just relaxing and enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was clean and to a high standard. I would definitely return! :)

Everything. Was clean and tidy. Rooms were spacious. Air con efficient. Fully functional kitchen. The shower was amazing, and there was plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. I enjoyed how close it was to everything from shops for groceries and restaurants to a bike/scooter rental place and the bus stop

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed...

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). Both worth a day's visit and the sea is unbelievably clear and inviting.

I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we had on this side of Megalochori.

We preferred this end of the strip as it is quieter but...

We preferred this end of the strip as it is quieter but still has good beaches, bars and restaurants only a few minutes stroll away. It has a couple of good supermarkets too. There is quite a bit of building work going on so maybe check with your host first.

We went out of season with few people on the island except...

We went out of season with few people on the island except the core of locals, most tourist businesses closed. We chose it as it is small and we expected it to be quiet, and only one hour from Piraeus by ferry. Nearby Aegina is much larger and another option, but you would need your own transport (hire cars available). in season i could imagine it being super busy and seeming crowded.

Excellent location, right across from a beach. Beuatiful views in the evening. Close to both of the main "centers", although the further one is a bit far during midday heat. Staying at the hotel gives a discount when renting chairs and shade at the beach. The restaurant is nice, one of the better options on the island. Owners are friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was great. We loved it and it was one of the best on the island. The room was cozy, modern and super clean. The Owner was very friendly and caring. The view was amazing, and the sea was just a few feet away. The breakfast was delicious and we will definitely come back again. I highly recommend it
