This is a special, hidden gem on Naxos, away from all the sunbeds and noise from the busy beaches. The 2 beaches here were absolutely fantastic. You reach the town by bus from the port of Naxos and ride through the mountains to reach this town. It's such a lovely bus ride, but if you easily get car sick, I recommend taking car sick medication before leaving. You get around the tiny town on foot; everything is in one spot. It is difficult to park here, so strongly recommend coming by bus, it's cheap and it runs a few times per day. There is a minimarket, a souvenir shop, and a handful of tavernas and coffee shops right on the beach! Our favorite restaurant by far was Kalimera, true Greek food. One beach is a sandy beach and the other has rocks, not as easy to get in and out but worth the effort. The water is crystal clear.

If you want a tranquil stay Apollon is ideal. We had a car so got out and about a little - nothing is very close by though. Be aware it only has a very small supermarket with the bare essentials. No bakery in the village but there is fresh bread in the supermarket in the nearest village Koronida, 20 minutes drive away (a very pretty village off the through road). We sampled 3 tavernas - all good.

Flora's Apartments are in a superb location, the owners meet you and offer an Exceptional service, welcome you with a smile and treat you like family. The rooms are clean and spacious, the ambient is serene, surrounded by nature and seascape. The price for the stay is very reasonable, this is a highly recommended place!

Apollonas is a calm and scenic village on the northeast coast of Naxos. The people are very friendly and the hostess described Adriane's apartment as her paradise. It turned out to be our paradise too, at least for the week we were fortunate enough to stay there. The surroundings are amazing, great hiking, beaches etc. The hostess has made a great effort to secure that everything you need is provided for. We can highly recommend staying there if you are looking for a memorable visit on Naxos.

Flora's apartments were stunning! Located with a picturesque view of the Apollonas bay, with the sound of the ocean in the background, it was the most peaceful and calming place. The accom itself was spotless and cleaned thoroughly daily. It had everything I needed for my 5 night stay. Christina and her husband maintain the apartments personally. They were the most warm and caring hosts one could imagine, and in their actions you can see that they love what they do and take pride in it.

Great location although you need a car to get to it. Parking was below the apartment on the street but safe. The apartment was quite large and comfortable, the washing machine a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped but a few condiments would not go astray…eg oil, vinegar and salt. One coffee pod per person per day would also be valuable as the mini mart in town has very limited supplies. Apollonos is great place to visit beaches and town towards the south of the island.

The hotel was located in a great place, just a few minutes walk to the beach and local tavernas. The room had everything we needed. The hotel, owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. My favourite thing was walking to the beach in the morning for a swim before breakfast - there was no one else on the beach and the water was beautiful.
