A phantistic hotel in th mountains, 20 km from coast. Hotel is young and very comfortable. Bathrooms are big and very modern shower. Big TV with options on Netflix and others. Breakfast is also excellent. We have been every evening for dinner in their restaurant for very good cooking and excellent wines ( especially the Cuvee with a glass price of 3 Euro, is an absolute highlite). We will definite, if we travel on the Pelopones, com again. One word to the indoor pool: Warm water and on one side the option of air blowers like in a whirl pool. Superb!

Pharae Palace is located on the famous Kalamata beachfront and just few minutes away from the shopping districts and the port of Kalamata.

Grand Hotel Kalamata is a new building, a great hotel right by the sea. The pedestrian street in front of it is just being completed. Our room was amazing. We got a better room on the sea side. It also had a balcony. The bed was comfortable, the pillow selection was wide, the sheets and blankets were of high quality, as were the towels. The welcome drink was a nice gesture. Thank you! We found a place for our car in the hotel parking lot. The behavior of the staff is polite and correct, but also cordial. The professionalism didn't cover it up which is great! Kalamata is a fairly large city and the Grand Hotel Kalamata is located on its "edge", that is, if you look from the direction of the center. Of course, the location by the sea is also an advantage.

Beautiful renovated 19th century neoclassical building. An impressive collection of antiques but with lots of modern fixtures that make the stay comfortable. Plentiful and varied breakfast – the landlady is a magician with pies! Spacious, clean and well-appointed rooms with balconies. Close to the town center, shops, museums and restaurants. Large free public parking near-by. Very helpful, courteous and efficient staff. I want to point out that staff went out of their way to help us resolve an issue that in no way implicated them.

- The detail that makes the difference compared to other hotels in Kalamata is that there is no road that seperates the beach and the hotel. This was really convenient since we had our 8months old kid with us. - It is newly renovated. - Mr. Antonis who is working there for more than 10 years, and the rest of the team have been very kind and helpful. - We did not get charged for baby’s food.
