The hotel is new, nicely decorated rooms and a general welcoming attitude from the staff. Marios gave us a few tips and local knowledge regarding the island during check-in, which I found really helpful, especially since it was our first time in Naxos. Our room was quite spacious, cleaned on a daily basis, and had 2 big balconies to chill as well. Breakfast was generous and had a variety of products to choose from. I would only recommend visiting with a car or motorbike as it is slightly remote. (~30 min drive to Chora) wasn't a problem for me as I needed a more relaxed place to stay. The pool was a decent size and generally clean, but it often had flies and/or other insects drown in it. It's a rural area, so it's understandable, but maybe it could be cleaned a little more often with a net.

The property owner, Helen, and the staff provided exceptional, yet unpretentious, service, making me feel entirely welcome and comfortable from the beginning. The setting of the hotel is exquisite, offering beautiful mountain scenery, and I partook in the most wonderful, impromptu sunset yoga class on my first evening, which set the tone for a memorable stay. They are committed to sustainability and providing an authentic taste of Naxos. I adored each meal, conversation, and moment of quietude that ELaiolithos provided. Great experience, excellent staff and facilities. A large pool, with an excellent pool bar and snacks. The beach is directly in front of the hotel where you could secure sunbeds easily and order a cold coffee and have it delivered. Bus stops right out the front with frequent services to Chora with many stops on the way. Mini Market underneath the pool area open until late. Great dining options walking distance. Much less crowded than other parts of Naxos.

We chose Kastraki because we wanted a place on the beach and away from the crowds. Kastraki Dunes was perfect for us. It looks like a movie set. It was a bit cramped for three, probably better suited for two people, but it was comfortable and clean and the beach is right there.

Everything was perfect! Great location very close to the center and 15 min from the best beaches. The pool is lovely and the breakfast was excellent! The employees were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend Halcyon and will be go back in my next visit to Naxos.

Our maisonette was very spacious and spotless. The staff were extremely helpful at all times and very friendly, our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels given. It was exactly as pictured and we loved every minute of it. The pool was also lovely.
