I travel a lot, both for leisure and for work. I can say that this may be the best of its kind I have seen so far. The place is equipped at an excellent level. The location is the best if you are looking for privacy, diving into nature, and detoxing from stress. The Hosts are fantastic. They are always there to help but very discreet. Cleanliness was at the top level. The jacuzzi pool is really great.

The hotel is great. The architecture of this place is mind-blowing, the rooms are very pretty, the pools are clean and offerring a pleasant swim, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff is really nice. The fact that the hotel is right by the beach and that you can lie on the beach and go swim in the pool at the same time sets this hotel apart from most hotels in the Rethymno city. Another great thing about the location of the hotel is that you can walk to the nearby tavernas for lunch or dinner or to the city centre (it's a 35-minutes walk to the old town). We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. We also liked the "adults-only" atmosphere - it was very peaceful at the pools and the beach. The hotel and the whole city also feels very safe and there is nobody who would disturb you at the beach (as it is common on some other touristic places).

Gorgeous architecture and in a super convenient location, directly in the old city centre but no noise. The best part of it all was the lovely and attentive staff though! They really made it such a nice and relaxing experience. The breakfast is absolutely brilliant, staff prepares a different variety of dishes each morning, which were nothing short of amazing.

Beautiful room with cozy, homey décor. Everything was spotless. The area is really cute with plenty of parking, and there’s even a gym (though I didn’t use it). The receptionist was incredibly friendly (she deserves a raise!!!)

Everything was good, the location was perfect, right in the main street, near the beach and the restaurants. It was very noisy outside, but when you closed the windows it cancelled all the noise . The room was lovely, very clean and had all the amentaties you need. The girl from the desk was lovely and helpfull. We will definetly come back.

Gonia - a small village where you can feel the local...

Gonia - a small village where you can feel the local atmosphere and culture. In August, we happened to attend one of the Cretan festivals – a traditional celebration with food and music on the village square. As tourists, we were warmly invited, even though the event was mainly for locals. Very kind people who are happy to interact with visitors.
