The room was large and very well furnished. The balcony faced the mountains, but there are seats in front of the entrance where you can enjoy the evening sun over the sea. It is a very quiet and pleasant village for relaxing and unwinding. The accommodation has its own restaurant, and there is also a café and another taverna nearby. A small supermarket is located at the end of the street.

Everything was perfect in this hotel! We rented two deluxe rooms and they were very stylish, modern and beautiful. Everything there is renovated and clean. Staff was amazing they answered all our questions and were really helpful during all vacation. For instance, we ordered airport transfer through the hotel and required later check-out and it wasn't an issue. Rooms were cleaned every day! Also breakfast was tasty, we had everything that we needed.

The place is just perfect!!! The apartment is clean and with all the accessories. The Garden is really beatiful, silent, with hammocks and a fantastic view on Zacros bay. The location is very close to get the best beaches and Zacros gorge. The owner is so nice and helpful. A perfect place to relax

The location is excellent. Kato Zakros is the perfect place to relax. Even in the middle of the summer, it is not crowded. It has some small, but delicious and relatively cheap restaurants next to the beach. The Zakros Minoan palace is a 5-minute walk from the property. The exit of the Gorge of the Dead is two minutes away. Xerokampos, which is famous for its sandy beaches, is a 20-minute drive. The property itself is excellent for a family; it is clean, it has all the facilities you may need, and has a perfect view to the sea.

Fabulous location, beautiful beach which you have to share...

Fabulous location, beautiful beach which you have to share with 10 people at the most, sometimes no-one else. Very quiet and unspoiled unlike much of Crete but not for people who like a busy nightlife or need British food/beer

I had not planned on staying in Goudhouros, but I'm glad I...

I had not planned on staying in Goudhouros, but I'm glad I did. It seems like the entire town is on the beach - everything is beachfront. The winding road in and out of town (in both directions) is a lot of fun to drive.
