The breakfast was excellent, the room was cleaned every day and was well equipped. All The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The sun beds were very comfortable and the pool was lovely. We also had a room with a jacuzzi which was lovely

We had a lovely and extremely relaxing vacation, the rooms were all clean and new. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant had good selection as well. Pool area was spacious, never crowded. For the last nights, we upgraded our room to the one with the pool and it was amazing, ideal for more privacy. I would recommend 100%. The location was nice, you can walk around but i would recommend hiring a car.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel. Before arriving, I had a tough time choosing among many options, but right from the first day, I knew I had hit the jackpot. The food was delicious, the drinks at the bar were excellent, the pools were spotless, and the beach was perfectly maintained. The rooms were comfortable, and there was entertainment all day long — fun for all ages. What really stood out, though, was the amazing team behind it all. The bartenders — Mikos, Daniel, Augustinis, and Dimitris — always seemed to sense exactly what you needed, whether it was a chat or a drink. They knew everyone’s tastes perfectly, and there were never any delays or mistakes. The animators — Spider-Man, Emil, Lisha, and Teresa — brought so much energy and positivity from the moment the day began. Their unforgettable games, competitions, shows, kids’ activities, and sports made every day special. The restaurant staff were incredibly quick, knowledgeable, and attentive, always ready to serve the tastiest meals and lend a helping hand. I also want to highlight the lifeguard, who did an outstanding job keeping everyone safe. Thanks to him, there were no unfortunate incidents, and he was always ready to assist and offer advice with even the smallest details. All in all, this hotel gave me a fantastic vacation, and I was lucky to meet the wonderful people who work there — each one left a mark on my heart and became a friend. Big thanks to the entire D’Andrea Mare team!

We spent a wonderful time in Matoula Beach hotel. Staff was amazing, always willing to make our stay perfect. We arrived sooner, in the morning, and they tried to make our room ready asap. Special thanks to housekeeping staff and their beautiful surprise for us. We had a very nice room with pool and sea view, very clean, with a great bathroom and terrace. The breakfast was tasteful. Hotel is close to the beach and not far from bus stop to the airport and Rhodes city.

Close enough to Rhodes Old Town to visit regularly if you want. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Lively, but not rowdy. As a kitesurfer, it offered me a choice of beaches and kite stations within 25 mins. Also, the sea breeze was pretty reliable most afternoons. My family thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque sunset horse riding that took place just in front of Rainbow Bar. We all enjoyed this special little bar, its food, cocktails, beer and view of the sunset.

Lalyssos was a quick transfer to the airport.

Lalyssos was a quick transfer to the airport. It has a pleasant beach, with frontline hotels. All the people I met were warm and welcoming. It is easy to get to Rhodes Old Town by bus and takes approximately 30 minutes. Top tip take water, the buses can be full and hot. Also just by a one way ticket each way. You don't need a day pass. You can tap on with your debit card on the bus. There are bars and restaurants on the road down to the beach. Try @mondbarrhodes cocktail and pool bar. The cocktails were amazing, Also try Joni's bar, also very welcoming, and if you want to watch sport For a Greek taverna go to Platons The beach has windsurf hire. For the best patisseries/cakes go to @cakebox.cafe There are lots of great excursions. Try @holidaysessential I used the family run company and have only praise. They have lots of different excursions. They have three offices, one is in Lalyssos. There is an acropolis on the top of the mountain in Lalyssos but it is quite a hike if you do not have a car. There is a little tourist train that cost 9 euros per adult. A great way to get your bearings. I loved it here, I felt safe as a solo traveller, and there was no problems at all.

Perfect location to arrange trips around the island. 10 minutes drive from the airport. 15 minutes drive from Rhodes city downtown. Great number of facilities in the nearby access (cafes, restaurants, convenience shops etc.)

This was our first visit to Ialysos, but it won’t be our...

This was our first visit to Ialysos, but it won’t be our last. The hotel and staff are lovely, there are dozens of wonderful restaurants within 10 minutes level walk and the food is wonderful. Cannot wait to return.

The Greek people are absolutely lovely – everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The area we stayed in was full of restaurants, minimarkets, and rental cars. Sun, pool, and sea... what more could you ask for? :-) We’ll definitely be back!

Second time visiting and I will definitely be back. The hotel is small which is ideal it’s very private with a lovely pool area out the back. The location is ideal very close to the airport and Rhodes town. There is a taxi rank just down from the hotel which is very handy when you’re not up to waiting for a bus. The owners and staff were exceptional, everyone associated with the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful which made our experience even better.

We had a fabulous stay the reception staff Christina jnr Evgenia kate Despina and reservation manager Christina was very helpful and a very valuable to the hotel also the restaurant manager Stephan George the chef and all the restaurant staff my husband is disabled and they made our stay so enjoyable and nothing was to much trouble for them they deserve top star ratings and if we return to Rhodes we would definitely stay there again 😀

The hotel was nice and neat, tho near the airport which you couldn’t miss. We had one bedroom suite with garden view and bathroom with both separate shower and bathtub. Bathroom was renovated but otherwise the room was a bit outdated. Hotel was quiet which was nice because the outer wall and outdoor didn’t keep noises out (extra bed where children slept was in that room).

We were on the run for the forest fires in the south-east from Rhodes in the summer of 2023 and we're welcomed with open arms by Takis and his wife when we arrived at this hotel. He even gave us a few bottles of water. We had a lovely night, and when we left even got a handmade present of his wife. We recommend staying with Takis!
