Perfection! This was my second time and will return again . The fantasy of living in the middle of olive grove in  Greek village distantly from top of the hill  overlooking  stretch of beach,  is more attainable than you might think. Place itself features its own ornamental gardens by pool and dining area. One moment you catch yourself smelling lavender, other honeysuckle, hear buzzing bees. Dont be fooled by thinking of boredom, there are available hands on cooking class , olive oil and wine tasting  clases . What could be better- to Cook in middle of greek garden 5 course meal with people around the world and later under olive tree enjoy this food. If you are ready for some coctails Michail by  pool will whisk you best greek  lavender sour or greek Spritz. No loud shows or dances at night time ( which is perfect by me) , but  cinema . And if you have special movie in mind , just ask reception. Reception and all staff - you are so special! You all made my stay  comfortable, safe and unforgetable. Thank you and see you soon , because returning to you place is like returning to family.

A nearly flawless experience. If you plan to stay put or you have a car, this is a perfect location in a less crowded suburb of Rethimno. Otherwise, just take into account that there is little to do within walking distance. Staff is so nice there is little else to say. Food is fantastic (take the half board!). Deserts are criminal! Rooms and beds are perfect. Even many hooks in the bathroom :) (something we find rarely in hotels)

Amazing boutique hotel at the beach. The location is perfect-quiet but still close to the town (Retimno), restaurants and shops. The staff is always helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend, especially for people who want to relax in a peaceful surroundings.

We loved the cultivated environment (garden, trees, grass, flowers) . The hotel has very good private beach. The materials used for the construction are high valued (a lot of lime stone). The capacity not to be overcrowded. We had breakfast and dinner, waste of quality food.

We have just returned from our 4 night stay and we cannot fault a single thing. Other than being absolutely beautiful with a focus on wellness, what makes Uzenie so special is the staff. Every single member of staff was attentive, kind and gave exceptional customer service. We celebrated my fiancés 30th birthday here and although we usually avoid returning to the same place, Uzenie is somewhere we could return every year. The food at the buffet for breakfast and dinner was of fantastic quality- much better than your average hotel buffet. Nothing was too much to ask for and we cannot thank you all enough for the most wonderful experience.

After an air b and b on the coast, this mountain retreat was...

After an air b and b on the coast, this mountain retreat was the perfect end to our vacation. It was historic but peaceful. Our room had a garden and a big lovely outdoor table. But we found ourselves sitting at various spots around the property by the pool, in the garden, at the outdoor movie theatre on Friday night. Everything was amazing.
