The people in Kilkis are very warm and kind. You instantly feel at home. The food is fantastic. I much prefered to be out of the Thessaloniki area. You can still travel in to the the city, but if you want quite and appreciate country life, Kilkis is the place to be.

There are coffee shops and restaurants, there is a museum, cave to visit, ending off with a lovely drink or food at the top of the mountain, in the Lofos which has recently been renovated and is perfect for stopping over whether for drinks or a meal. Service is great. The town is friendly and there are many little shops, to drop in and find what you want, at good prices. Out of the town there is the lake Diorani … shared by two countries… following on a beautiful lake Kirinia where boating takes places… all around there to the right and left of Diorani, it’s very green and many natural sights to take long walks and then take a dip in the springs. A crystal blue dam.

This is by far the most modern hi-tech hotel we have encountered in Greece! The owner has done a great job in designing and delivering a 5 star opulence throughout the public areas in Reception and dining area, with very plush rooms to match!!! Location in town is good, and on-site parking is easy (although the parking lot awaits its own much-needed makeover ;-)

A large hotel which is very convenient with ample parking for through traffic. The Lobby and reception area was large with lots of seating . The reception staff were very pleasant and did the best to be helpful.

the manager of this hotel was excellent, when we had issue with booking (double bed instead of 2 singles) hotel was full but she came to the rescue , also the reception staff were excellent.
