A wonderful family boutique hotel, very close to Zagori and located in a beautiful area. Breakfast was very good, Maria made traditional pie that is suitable for us vegetarians. The village was magical. Maria the owner was super helpful and helped us plan our trips and gave us great tips and information when we needed.

This beautiful house has been restored to perfection by the owner Dimitris and his team. The location in the tiny village of Ano Podina is calm and peaceful, with a coffee terrace giving gorgeous views over the nearby mountains/sunsets. Monodendri, one of the more popular towns with tourists, is only a 15 min drive away. The hotel is surrounded by incredible spots for hiking over mountains or along rivers. Our rooms were sparkling clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff were kind, friendly and professional at all times. Genuinely, I think this was one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed. We visited in March, and the weather/temperature was perfect for hiking/exploring nature. Thank you so much to the Ameliko Zagori team for a wonderful visit!

Great hospiitality! A piece of paradise in the middle of the wilderness of Zagori. Very comfortable bed, good breakfast, total silence during the night, the hosts always in a good mood and very nice and friendly. The parking place is directly in front of the hotel (because it is the first house of Dilofo). It seems unreal, when you first come to Dilofo: the whole village seems to be a place out of time - but the hotel in combination with the taverne (delicious food in special atmosphere), which is just 50 meters away, make Dilofo to an absolutely place to be!

EVERYTHING!!! The host “Spidoula” is absolutely marvelous! From her warm welcome, to her thoughtful guidance for our visits in the area, the amazingly good breakfast, and everything in between. This was by far our best stay in the whole of mainland Greece!! And with cherry of top, the hotel is walking distance away from a really good restaurant (5min) and driving distance (15min) from supermarkets. The Vikos Gorge is just 20-45min depending on where you go and the beautiful Aaos gorge is also 15-20min away! We totally recommend booking your stay with Spidoula!
