Location is fantastic with views of the White Mountains, and the best sunsets and sunrises. The apartment was very beautiful, with hand painted furnishings (by our talented host) and art to enjoy. Our hosts were lovely and being there at the height of the growing season, they generously supplied us with tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden, to supplement the basic ingredients provided in the kitchenette (oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, vinegar). There's a washing machine on the terrace, and everything dries in no time. The gorgeous terrace was the main reason we booked and it did not disappoint; there were comfortable shaded areas for lounging, and even cats to play with. Chania is about 30 minutes' drive, with a street market on Thursday and Saturday - go early! The nearest beaches are about 30 minutes' drive as well. Do check out the local winery and the botanical gardens; both excellent for a tour and lunch. We hope to visit again.

We recently stayed in this lovely apartment for a week and our expectations were exceeded. The area is absolutely stunning. Peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxing. The apartment itself was a real gem. Spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable. And the most important- People. The hosts and neighbors were incredibly warm and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, giving local tips and always greeting with a smile. One thing I especially appreciated was how genuine and helpful they were. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a calm, welcoming, and lovely place to stay! Tavern ( next to the apartment) run by the owners is on the different level, once you try food there nowhere else taste the same.

A quiet place to stay, 10min by car from the crowded city center. The room is quite clean and comfortable, not as warm as the temperatures in the city center. There is a nice balcony on the side. Washing machine is quite a bonus when you stay for long and have dirty sea towels. The owners are very friendly. We will definetelly visit again!

The villa was a beautiful and tranquil retreat nestled in a small village surrounded by orange groves. The children had a fantastic time in the swimming pool, and the garden was filled with vibrant lemon trees. The flickering flames of the pizza oven created a cozy atmosphere as the evening grew darker. We also enjoyed leisurely walks around the nearby lake, which offered excellent walking trails. Additionally, the view from the slopes of the neighboring fruit orchard overlooking the valley was absolutely stunning. Overall, our stay at the villa was a delightful experience, combining natural beauty, a serene atmosphere, and enjoyable amenities.

The apartment is stunning, newly furnished, and fully functional. The modern kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, induction cooktop, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and all the necessary accessories. The bathroom features a large mirror with integrated lighting and a stylish, efficient shower system that I can’t stop dreaming about. There’s also a washing machine with both short and normal cycles. The living area is equipped with two comfortable couches, and the highlight is the delightful outdoor space, perfect for relaxing evenings. The owners are very kind, available, and friendly. As a special touch, we were welcomed with breakfast provisions, the owner's own olive oil, wine, and raki. I highly recommend this place!

Lakki is slightly of the usual tourist destinations. The village has four traditional tavernas - offering coffee, drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ideal for walking and experiencing a traditional Cretan village. The village is situated on the norther slopes of the White Mountains and is located on the bus route between Chania and the Samaria Gorge. The Gorge is about 15k from Lakkoi.
