Arrived to such a warm welcome which continued for the week we were there , nothing was too much trouble and so helpful , spotless clean and great view from our room , bus stopped right outside which was handy as we had stayed in chania for a few days prior, great value for money accommodation

We did like the friendly staff that make us feel cozy during our stay into Lilium Luxury Suites. We had breakfast included (till 10:30 a.m. ) and we did like the large variety, local products and also fresh orange juice and lemonade which were included every day. The great beach bar is in front of the suites ( less than 5 minutes walking distanance), the supermarket is under the suites and you can find all you need. There is also a great local restaurant next to the Suites named Spiti ( try the Cretan salad :)) and is open for lunch every day ( as most of the restaurants opens around 16:00). The location is quite good with easy access to everything in and around Agia Marina.

This is definitely the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room itself is very spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a large terrace with a stunning view of the pool and the sea. The hotel is located across the road from the first line, and within 5 minutes, you can already be at the beach. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied, and the staff is friendly. There was an option to pay extra for all-inclusive, but it wasn’t necessary for us. There are nice cafés and restaurants nearby. In the evening, there was sometimes entertainment for children, but after 11 PM, the hotel was very quiet. If I visit Agia Marina again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Crete is beautiful, but it isn't safe for single woman.

Crete is beautiful, but it isn't safe for single woman. I wanted to make hikking, to rest from driving. But without your man's guard or a group of other tourists you don't feel comfortable. Using the taxies is very difficult because the drivers don't want to start the meters and you really don't know the price of a distance. You have to pay with cash everywhere and in many restaurants they dont give you menu with prices. You can pay with a card only in shops.
