Mesariá is centrally located on the island of Santorini, making it an ideal base for exploring both the north — such as Fira and Oia — and the south, including Akrotiri and Perissa. Getting around is easy, whether by car or public bus. The area also offers great value, with local restaurants and bars that are more affordable than those in the more touristy towns. We especially enjoyed dining at Mike Grill House, grabbing coffee and treats at the cozy Boas Bakery (which also serves as a bar), and shopping at the nearby KPHTIKOE supermarket — everything we needed was right around the corner.Guest review byJiang_YueItaly - 10.0

Our favorite place in Messaria was the village itself, with its authentic atmosphere and quiet little alleys. We especially loved the courtyard of the residence, filled with aromatic plants, as well as the old winery nearby. We had amazing traditional food at Postalia tou Aigaiou and a lovely breakfast at Antama Cafe. Both are very close to the residence, so we didn’t even need to use a car. Getting around from Messaria is very easy, as it’s located in the heart of the island with quick access to everywhere – whether by car, taxi, or bus. We had a rental car and could reach the beaches or Oia in just 10–15 minutes. Due to limited time, we didn’t manage to do too many activities. But we did catch the sunset in Oia, took a boat trip to the caldera, visited a local winery for wine tasting, and of course enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the Messavóli courtyard!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The Nous hotel was an amazing hotel base. Easy to travel to anywhere on the island by public bus which was a very cost effective and enjoyable way to explore all parts of the island. Mesaria is 5-10 min bus ride from Fira the capital and 25 mins from Oia. Arkrotiri was a quiet and beautiful unspoilt location worth a visit to see the museum and red beach. Messaria is a busy village, situated between the airport & Fira. There are good local bus connections, good restaurants & a fabulous traditional bakery & other supermarkets. It's within walking distance from many local cafes and bakeries, a market, and the street in front of the apartments leads everywhere from Fira to Imerovigli and Oia in just 15 minutes of driving. The villas are fully organized with home appliances and everything someone needs during vacation days. For me as a local that travels a lot on the islands, it is a hidden gem of Santorini. What a great room, modern, new, comfortable and clean. The location could be better (close to supermarkets and restaurants). The Best part was Giulia warm and kind reception. I felt so welcome there, she is so supportive and lovely! She exceeded all expectations. I just asked her where was the bus stop and she followed us until the corner of the street.
