Nice little town with a beautiful central square with a modern playground and a lot of nice cafes and restaurants around it. Very close to the beautiful Bouka beach. It is in the ideal location for many excursions in the surrounding area, all the main tourist attractions are within 45-60 mins slow drive

The Messini hotel is about 5 mins drive from Kalamata airport so is ideal as a stop after a later flight. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were delightful. Breakfast was amazing, lots of variety and very generous. We walked into the local town for supper at one of it's many restaurants. Only 5 mins walk. The hotel has a carpark so works well if you have collected a hire car at the airport.

The hotel was a great place to stay for us, the scenery was amazing. The room was well kept and very clean. The bathroom facilities were new and the shower was amazing. The breakfast was traditional greek and delicious. Quite a large selection to choose from. The host was very welcoming and helpful.
