The hotel was very nice. Everything was clean and nicely styled with large rooms. Pool area was exceptional with great views. The place was a short drive away from methoni and pylos. There is a nice swimming beach a short walk/drive away and the host who met us came down for a swim whilst we were there.

This is a fantastic property, a family enterprise managed with the heart by Katerina. We are very picky on cleanliness and this property is super clean, disinfected, towels superb, room spacious, it could take 2 adults and 2 children. The breakfast was included and very good. Katerina was very helpful with ourmany queries. The sandy beach across the road is vast, the waters very clean and suitable for children. Spectacular views on the 3 islands across. No noise from the road because of good windows. This place is ideal for people who need to rest, enjoy the ocean, go snorkeling, rent a boat in Methoni to the islands. Sunbeds and drinks are available on either side of this big beach.

The best equipped & furnished property we have stayed at for many years. The house is perfect in every way. Aggeliki has furnished it to the very highest standards. Fantastic comfortable bed, linen & pillows. Modern bathroom with excellent washing machine which we appreciated. The kitchen had everything you could ever want or need, brand new & sparkling. Outside is a continuation of the style seen inside, beautiful dining furniture, clever sunscreens & a lovely small garden leading to another tiled & walled garden seating area, all tastefully done. Air conditioning in bedroom & living/ dining area. Thank you for a great stress free stay.

Majestic with a castle and the crystal blue waters as a backdrop. Methoni is for everyone - it has history, beach, shopping, friendly and welcoming people and amazing food. I highly recommend making a reservation at Castro (a reservation because you will not get a table unless you do) for a delightful cuisine and spectacular view at sunset. You will not regret it. I also recommend the Rex right by the beach. Excellent food. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed Methoni.

We really enjoyed Methoni. Wandering around the historic town, exploring the castle, walking the surrounding countryside and ending up at Surreal for coffee or Thalassa for a meal. Our holiday was pure relaxation. If you want to explore further a car is probably necessary as the bus service is minimal.

If you are seeking a quieter holiday it is ideal, although I can only comment on our October holiday when it was not so busy. It is a lovely town with many small streets to explore and friendly people, with the superb castle as its focal point. It is well served with Tavernas/Restaurants and facilities for boat trips including fishing.

Methoni is a nice town in the furthest Peloponnese.

Methoni is a nice town in the furthest Peloponnese. It has a real island vibe, more like Crete than the rest of the Peloponnese. Mass tourism has not yet really beaten it down. Pylos is more touristic, but Methoni is just a little further down the road.

A great seaside city, with a huge castle wall to visit and include into your panoramic photos The locals are friendly and you have plently of taverns to chose from In every evening you may find live music or concerts for entertainment

The water and beach views were beautiful.

The water and beach views were beautiful. The walk through the castle was amazing! It would have been nice to have a map describing the structures within the castle. The rocky cliffs and water were spectacular. We enjoyed out visit to Methoni and recommend it.

Breakfast absolutely incredible. Charming tray loaded with delicious things hot bread and croissants yoghurt nuts etc. the ladies were incredibly friendly and charming. And the pool and surroundings sop peaceful very close to Methoni and lovely beaches but set in a calming and scented olive grove with a lovely garden. Utter bliss and a kitten in my bed one night. We were welcomed on our arrival by Maria who showed us to our apartment and made us Greek coffee. The apartment was clean , cool and spacious with lovely views of the sea and castle from the balcony . The location of the apartments is peaceful and we were able to walk into Methoni from the apartment. Maria was attentive throughout the week and a good host .
