We stayed recently at this hotel, which just opened. Really loved our suite and its minimal décor. It was super clean everyday. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, especially the Calamari , the shrimps and taramas that was to die for. Really liked the pool, comfy loungers and summer cocktails. Highly recommended! Would love to come back!

I visited near the end of October.

I visited near the end of October. It was perfect without the hordes of summer tourists. I found it so relaxing, wandering through the town. You could actually enjoy yourself. I would suggest visiting earlier in October for warmer temperatures. Although the daytime temperatures were warm, nights got a little chilly at the end of October.

Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants.

Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants. A few high end clothing stores, and many many businesses selling jewelry, clothes, souvenirs and fridge magnets. Quite small, apparently caters to party goers over the summer (went in October end of season, where most main venues had closed).

Mikonos is very cute but very small, probably two or three days is enough to stay there, more than enough but if you are in a boat could be a different experience. The windmills and the marina are my favorites spots and of course the restaurants and the shopping is all there.

We visited late September, weather perfect, crowds not crazy, perfect time of year to visit the islands in Greece. We've been during high season (July) and crowds made it less enjoyable. We stayed 3 nights, and that was perfect to do what we wanted to do and get a great feel for Mykonos in our opinion. Getting around on foot & bus was easy and inexpensive. Very walkable, beaches very accessible by bus for 2 Euros. More expensive that say Paros, but, worth experiencing for a 2-3 days. Ferry to Delos island was easy and 25 Euros each and amazing experience. Any more time would be too much on this island. It is known for its "party" style, however, we had a relaxing trip and felt none of the crazy party atmosphere. Which was exactly what we wanted.

Some great restaurants, though vegetarians have to look harder, some amazing views and a unique charm. Can be tricky to get around if you have restricted mobility, but it is worth the effort. Over-promoted (where isn't?) so pretty busy anytime, but visiting in late season brings its own rewards.

It was different to all the old towns we have visited in our trip- it was straight streets rather than meandering steps up hills. There are hills with steps, but on the outskirts. The shops are mixed up with local and luxury. Heaps of restaurants and bars. The colours are beautiful.

The location is the best. In center of town tet very quite. Nice ,garden and nice lobby balcony. The second floor rooms do not have an elevator and there is Noone to help out to carry the suitcase. You need to ask for a hot water kettle. Good bad very clean Great hotel on the middle of town.

Hotel Gorgona was perfect in every way. This family owned hotel was attentive to every need. The location was excellent and close to the main town but far enough away to be able to have a quiet and relaxing time. The view was breathtaking from our balcony! Breakfasts were excellent!
