This place is paradise! Beautiful greek-style houses with small balconies, wonderful garden, sea views, pool area and everything! The breakfast was super rich, different kinds of eggs, juices, big choice of fruit, everything was very very good! We stayed in the hotel after the Rhodes forest fires and got the bonus of a tourist free area - peace and quiet :) restaurants always had a table available for us, free parking and often we were on the beach with just our family! We enjoyed our time at Lindia Thalasso very much! Thank you!

The quietness of the place, surrounded by nature and the sound of cicadas, the simplicity and beauty of the sea view room and the terrace, the closeness to the beautiful beach nearby was exactly what we were looking for. Close enough to the center of the town to get to dinner walking but far enough to enjoy the peace at night. The best thing was definitely the warmth and smile of the hosts, Buba and George, who received us and took care of us as if we were family. Paid attention to every detail, cleanliness and tidiness in our room and the property in general, recommended where to go (even their favorite beach!), and made sure to come by and check on us daily. They made it so easy to enjoy Rhodes and made us feel and rest as if we were home. Priceless.

We visited Pefkos for business purposes, and although we arrived much earlier than the official check-in time, the host was very accommodating and kindly allowed us to check in early. This was incredibly helpful after our long journey and gave us the chance to rest. The accommodation was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had a stunning view from the balcony. The Wi-Fi was great, and we appreciated the small thoughtful touches like a bottle of water in the fridge and espresso capsules, which I definitely enjoyed as a coffee lover! Wonderful spacious and comfortable villa with direct access to beach and large enough to accommodate our two families. Excellent pool with large patio seating area and substantial BBQ/bar area. The very nice couple who own the villa (Angelina and Harris) welcomed us on arrival and provided us with all the necessary information. The outside (heated) shower and toilet facilities next to the pool area were an added bonus. A range of watersports were available on the adjacent beach including parasailing, which was reasonably priced and well run by a professional and fun team. Air conditioning worked well in all rooms. Plenty of good restaurants within a few minutes walk. The Kanaloa beach bar/restaurant was our clear favorite for an evening meal when we didn't BBQ.

Lovely quiet location, 5 minutes walk to a tiny secluded beach with a few sunbeds. Supermarket and pool bar across the road, restaurant owned by the apartment owners next door where we could always find them. We didn't go to the restaurant but it looked lovely. Short 10 minute walk into more central Pefki which looked quite lively and busy with loads of places to eat. Lindos was nearby easy to drive to a very popular location. Also Plakia beach is very near and really nice. Apartment was spotless and the owner came in to clean every few days. Really nice, very large shaded balcony.

Most of Pefki is great for tourists with some excellent bars and restaurants. The only bad thing about the whole area is the cost of renting sunbeds apart from outside Lees Beach Bar are ridiculous and I would not pay 30 euros each day for a moderate set of two sunbeds and a shade.

Pefki is a lovely place to stay, much less buisier than Lindos next door which pulls large number of visitors during the day. Main Lee beach is sandy with plentyfull sunbeds, spaces on the eastern side of the beach otherwise. Very Good choice of restaraunts Nikolas and Tsambikos being our favourites. Car hire with full insurance for a week cost us £190 in Pefkos, necessary for conveniance but not essential as there is a good bus sevice along the main east coast road.

Great beach. Lots of family friendly restaurants. Several small supermarkets stocking basic items for a family break. It is a resort so not the place to go if you're looking for an historical old town. Tourists seemed to be a mix of British and other mainly European holiday makers from lots of different countries.

Beautiful beaches, good selection of tavernas serving gorgeous Greek food, bars, supermarkets, pharmacy and shops. The resort is big enough for choice but not too big and caters for all ages. We stayed for 11 nights and only ate in the same taverna once which was our choice but there were other tavernas we hadn't tried. Everyone was so friendly, Pefki is a relaxed and fun resort, we would go again for sure!

Pefkos is now taking over from Lindos as a destination to enjoy the local Greek experience and food. Friendly people in all the bars and Tavernas. The big plus is it's cheaper than Lindos but just as good. It doesn't have the Acropolis but once seen...... Another plus is the great Taxi service to take you anywhere you wish to go at good rate As you can tell, I'm a convert and shall be going back again and again.

Pefkos was absolutely perfect, main beach was beautiful, lots of fabulous restaurants to choose from and the people were so welcoming and lovely. Villa was very central, quiet, very clean and nothing was too much trouble for Eleni the host. PERFECT!

BREAKFAST WAS PRETTY GOOD, A BIT MORE CHOICE WOULD BE GREAT. I LOVED THE VIEW OVERLOOKING THE GREENERY DOWN TO THE COAST. I WAS VERY PLEASED THAT THE HOTEL WAS AWAY FROM THE MAIN PART OF THE RESORT WHICH I FOUND NOISY AND A BIT NAFF. BEACHES A BIT OF A DISAPOINTMENT AS EITHER SMALL BUT PRETTY OR BIG WITH HUNDRED OF LOUNGERS AND BROLLIES CRAMMED TOGETHER. ENDED UP HIRING A CAR TO GET TO OTHER BEACHES FURTHER AWAY WITH LESS CROWDS. MOST BEACHES SHINGLE OF PEBBLES SO AQUA SHOES NEEDED.

The hotel was convenient for the beach and Pefkos evening entertainment. The rooms were spacious, clean and included sufficient basic furniture and fittings. We used the small balcony most days. The hotel controlled the use of the air-condition/electrics by only issuing one room key which meant you could not leave it on whilst out of the room, but this was not an issue for us. The receptionists were particularly welcoming and very helpful when we needed to arrange anything.

The hotel was perfect and everything was excellent despite Rhodes being hit by wildfires. Fortunately Pefki is protected by a natural "mountain firewall" from the fires and we were lucky as a result. Nevertheless attmosphere very smoky at times but we were delighted with how good our stay at Island Blue was and would definitely recommend it to couples and families with kids.

The host is a creative interior designer, with hidden features continually being discovered. He and staff are incredibly kind, professional and efficient - supporting customers admirably throughout tragic Rhodes alert status. It is minutes walk from the beach and village services/ free pools and entertainments.
