Everything was amazing. This hotel was the best I have stayed in all my many trips of Greece and I have visited Athens several times and many of the islands! The staff go out of their way to meet all your needs. The food is exceptional, very fresh and with ample options of local cuisine. In all our stay no two meals were the same in fact the buffet is very well planned to have different dishes at every meal! Everything is fresh, local and abundant. The attention to detail is amazing! Children are well catered for and the rooms are impeccably clean! All the staff from the Hotel general manager, the owners and their extended family, the reception staff, the entertainment, housekeepers, chefs, cooks, waiters and barmen are all amazing people and go out of their way to meet and greet all guests and are constantly asking if we need anything and constantly smiling. This hotel is a true gem and probably Crete’s best kept secret! The location next to Preveli and Kourtaliotiko Gorge is very convenient and really enhances the unique Cretan experience! This Hotel is well worth a stay and I really hope we will have an occasion to come back!

The location was excellent, right by the beach, we could have even breakfast, lunch or dinner by the beach, excellent service from the friendly staff. Food was exceptional. One can feel the personal touch, they make us welcome all the time, like family! We certainly come back as soon as we can.

This hotel offers perfect value for money. We really enjoyed our stay: the hotel is very convinently located, the balcony view is superb, and the room is very confortable. The breakfast was good, offering a variety of options. The hotel's location is very convenient, close enough to Plakias that you can easily walk into town for dinner (great offer). The region itself is very peaceful, with several great beaches nearby. However, having a car is highly recommended, if not essential, for fully exploring the area, less crowded than the north.

It is in a super quiet surrounding, still 2 minutes from the sea. Staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast served was varied and plentiful. There's a rooftop swimming pool which has a nice view of the sea as well (although we didn't use, just went to have a look). Spacious room, comfortable bed. Thanks

Loved so much about this independent hotel.Heracles is such a wonderful owner who takes pride in his beautiful establishment. He greeted us with refreshments, fresh juice and cake! Our room was spotless, like every other aspect of the hotel. Brand new washroom, balcony with a great view, clean and quiet...what's not to love! Make sure to order the breakfast- eggs from his chickens, marmalade from fruit picked in his yard, fresh blood orange juice from his own trees...absolutely delicious! Can't say enough about this place!

A very lovely, spacious and clean homely hotel. The family (Maria and Giorgos) are very kind and warm people. Maria offered us very tasty coffee, fresh lemons and gave us the best directions for exploring the surrounding area and sightseeing´s. In the room has everything what the visitor may need during his stay. The whole hotel has a lot of homely warmth. Parking is right near to the house. We definitely recommend staying in Maria´s and Giorgos place, it's a great experience.
