A trip to the east coast of the peninsula is a must, thanks to passing and parking in beautiful villages built on the sides of the mountains, the road is in very good condition with twists and clear signage. A cruise along the remote beaches of the island with caves and refreshing swimming. The restaurant, whose name I don't remember from the caves, serves tourists and therefore charges an exorbitant price for a small fish and very poor and rather dismissive service.Guest review byshoshaiIsrael - 10.0

The water is clean and warm, and it's not crowded if you prefer a quiet and peaceful vacation. There are many beaches and places to visit, and nothing is far away. We found Volos to be a very nice town.
We found Volos to be a very nice town. It has good walks and a fine shopping centre. It is not crowded with tourists like some other places and there are so many restaurants and cafes. People are friendly and it was so nice to see a town that kept it's Greek characteristics. Unfortunately Volos doesn't have a good flight connection from Athens and we had to hire a taxi, a bit costly but it was quite pleasant to travel in a comfortable luxury vehicle with a very friendly driver.Guest review byBaker - 8.0

I was already been in Volos, couple of times but every time I discover something new. As you already know, Volos is the main harbour in this part of Greece, so the main ferry departure starts from here for the Sporades islands. The bay of Volos is huge with some Islands inside. If you plan to sailing Sporades, consider that you will spent so much time to reach the Skiatos island, so we decided to catch the ferry and start our sailing week from Skiatos.Guest review byMiloradSerbia - 10.0

Hotel is located in very good loaction very close to the pedestrian promenade. This is brand new cosy, modern hotel with everything needed for a comfort stay in a city. Rooms are extemely comfortable and clean. Equipment, sheets, towels ets were brand new and very well maintenaned. Breacfast was wanderful. Beds are comfortable. A lovely modern hotel with good attention to detail. We parked in the Port car park using the electronic pass supplied by reception, which is really helpful, you can come and go as often as needed for a fixed charge of €10/24hrs paid at the hotel but you must obtain the pass from reception before you park.
