This is a very nice location to stay to visit Lanquin and Semuc Champey. The host of the hotel is very nice and does evreything to make your stay comfortable. Altough our spanisch is very bad we maneged to get evrything done what we needed. Thank you very much for all the help.

Very good price and 25 min walking to Semuc or there is option a tuk tuk but definitely recommend to the walk. Surrounded with nature and very kind staff family that take care of the guest with best manners. Totally recommended nice food as well 👌

It was our favourite hostel during the whole trip! The personnel was very friendly, the food amazing, the atmosphere magical, and the views stunning! It was great to listen to the River and observe the stars by the bonfire each night <3 moreover, the hostel offers also a range of cool activies, such as tubing or chocolate making classes! I wholeheartedly reccomend visiting this place!!!!

We had the most amazing stay at Mountain’s Nest. The cabin is spotless and in the most gorgeous location, Remy + Darina are fantastic hosts and the food was absolutely amazing. We had some of our best meals on Guatemala (if not the best) at Mountain’s Nest. Semuc Champey is nearby but there’s plenty to do at the cabin as well - the view is absolutely stunning and there’s a spacious patio to relax on, plenty of board games to try, and tours/activities offered as well. We highly recommend the cacao tour where you make your own chocolate using cacao beans from the property! Can’t recommend Mountain’s Nest enough!

Getting around Chipoc is easy, they have now cemented the road down the mountain side so it makes traveling smoother. There is easy access to leaving semuc to nearby towns there are cars leaving (like buses) every few minutes. Everything was absolutely beautiful !!
