I really liked the breakfast. It was a smaller breakfast but entailed what’s most important including omelettes. Small but very nice pool, sufficient for our 11 year old boy. Very friendly staff. A nice room with sea side view and mountain view.

Great hotel that is slightly set back from the seafront, which means you avoid the noise from all the restaurants and bars. Good size rooms. Bathroom with rain shower and Rituals products. Very good and lagre double bed. Towels are changed every day, and the hotel offers free loan of beach towels for use by the pool or on the beach. Great breakfast with a good selection is included in the stay. What makes the hotel unique, is the wonderful staff. They do everything to ensure you have a great stay. This was our second stay at Hotel Ani and we are already longing to return.

The location of the hotel is great, in the middle of the Makarska Riviera, on the beach. The rooms are well equipped, with special attention to everything that serves comfort. The breakfast is varied, with many special dishes and carefully prepared from high-quality ingredients. The waiters are very polite, the room ladies are kindly attentive. The receptionists are extremely helpful and always very kind. The Marittimo hotel was the perfect choice for us, we love Makarska and now we have found the ideal accommodation, we hope we will be able to stay there another time.

Everything, nothing not to like. Sea facing rooms are amazing. Delicious, well varied breakfast. Great pool area. Close to plenty of restaurants, bars and main beach and 7 minute walk to old town and harbor. We will be back.

Makarska in the summer season is not for me.

Makarska in the summer season is not for me. It's an amusement park, water park, para sailing, hubub in the season. I went after all that shut for the season and enjoyed the beautiful town, the sea and the mountains in peace.

Makarska is a perfect size for exploring on foot.

Makarska is a perfect size for exploring on foot. It has a beautiful old town and is supplied with some great eating places. I would recommend Gastro Diva for a local eating experience. The beaches are good and there are some lovely walks around the peninsula.

Makarska is the capital of Makarska Riviera and has all required infrastructure with well-equipped beaches, rest areas, shops, transport connections and entertainment venues. Unfortunately, when we needed medical help and X-Ray inspection after getting trauma, we had to go to Split (State Hospital).

It's a rather small town, but has many options to enjoy...

It's a rather small town, but has many options to enjoy yourself. Travelling to Split only takes just over an hour so you could choose to stay there more relaxingly instead of staying in busy Split.

The walk from Cuban each into town - approximately 3 km was lovely with lots of good beachfront cafes. Parking was expensive for beach access and difficult to get a Bolt/Uber the times we tried. The rooftop restaurant was wonderful for a fine dining experience.

Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September.

Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September. July and August is very hot and a lot off tourists on the beach, and on the streets. A lot of traffic, problem to find parking place. We only walk and stay overnight in Makarska center. Biokovo skywalk is fantastic

It was a great vacation in cool appartments close to the sea and city center. Appartment is clean, fresh and fully equipped with all necessary things. The view from the belcony is awesome. Special thanks to the owner for transfer from the airport and back, for a lot of useful information, advices about Makarska and Croatia in general. I definitely recommend this appartments for those who wants to have a beautiful recreation.

The appartment is spacious , new , well decorated, the most important thing is that is located at the best possible spot with an unobstructed view of the whole riviera. Spacious super clean very well equiped. The landlady Lana very polite waited on us until our delayed arrival almost at midnight. It s the only place i would stay in the region if ever back. And i drove along the whole croatian and montenegro riviera

We had an amazing time staying here, very nice, spacious and clean apartment that had everything we were looking for. Definitely the best one we have stay at after all of our travels in Croatia. Good location and the host was super nice, friendly and attentive whenever we had a question or request, which we really appreciated. This made the experience even better 😊
